Sunday Suggestions – Week 48

Good Morning

What a week it’s been—and can you believe it’s almost December? The cold snap had me reaching for the heat pad in my shed office, but hey, it’s all content inspiration, right? Have you shared your winter survival hacks yet?

This week, I’ve got five fresh ideas to help you keep showing up on LinkedIn (because consistency really is the secret sauce).

But first, here's something new I’ve done that’s got me a little nervous…

🚀 My BRAND-NEW Booking Page!

I’ve said goodbye to Eventbrite and launched a booking page right on my own website using the amazing TRYBOOKING Platform!

💚 It’s fully branded in my colours

💛 It’s easy to use

💚 The fees are more business-friendly

💛 And FREE events cost me NOTHING

It’s a radical move, but I’m embracing change—and you can check it out now by visiting the link HERE

Here’s what you’ll find:

✅ Book into my Free Drop-In Surgery (2 Dec)

✅ Join our free Netwalking event (9 Dec)

LinkedIn Local Sidmouth this Wednesday at The Balfour Arms

If you’re a local business owner, this is your chance to take those online LinkedIn connections offline!

Five Ideas for Your LinkedIn Posts This Week

1️⃣ Black Friday BUZZ Shout about your offers! Or share your perspective—are you a Black Friday fan, or do you avoid the frenzy?

2️⃣ Thanksgiving Gratitude Even if you don’t celebrate, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on what you’re thankful for this year. Gratitude posts always spark lovely conversations.

3️⃣ Winter Chills That cold snap hit hard! Share how you’ve been staying cosy, whether it’s office tips, energy-saving hacks, or even your go-to winter comfort food.

4️⃣ Sunrises and Sunsets Have you noticed how vibrant they’ve been lately? Share a photo or video and reflect on why these moments of stillness can be so meaningful.

5️⃣ Old Sayings from Your Boss Inspired by my post this week about “Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey.” Do you have a piece of advice from a mentor that’s stuck with you? Share it—it’s a great way to spark a conversation about growth and learning.

Winter chills - I was caught out last night. I agreed to walk to the shop with Rob and the pooch. No hat, no brolly, no wellies. I turned right - because that's the quickest way and it's main roads so there is less slush. Rob and the dog turned left to walk via the spooky railway track. I had to choose: back home, or join them knowing that my feet would get wet. My sketchers have been drying on the radiator overnight. 🤣 Rob described it as a romantic walk in the snow. ❤️
