What is Electromagnetic Vibrating Feeder?

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is an important industrial conveying equipment, and its working principle is based on electromagnetic vibration technology. This equipment realizes continuous and uniform conveying of materials through the vibration generated by the electromagnetic vibrator. Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is usually composed of electromagnetic vibrator, feeding trough, controller and other components.

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is a relatively new type of quantitative feeding equipment, which uses vibration to make the material produce periodic throwing motion to complete the forward conveying of materials.

Structural composition of electromagnetic vibrating feeder

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder is mainly divided into two types: linear trough reciprocating type (referred to as straight trough type) and spiral trough torsion type (referred to as disc type) in terms of structure, and the working principles of the two are basically the same. The straight trough type is generally used for feeding powder and granular materials that do not require directional sorting, or for operating machines for cleaning, screening, drying, heating or cooling materials; the disc type is generally used for feeding materials that require directional sorting, and is mostly used in occasions where materials with certain shapes and sizes are transmitted. The structure is shown in Figure 1, which is mainly composed of a trough, an electromagnetic vibrator, and a vibration absorber. The vibrator is composed of an electromagnet (iron core and coil), an armature, and a main vibration spring installed between the two. It is an excitation source for vibration, and the operation of the vibrator can be controlled by a certain control device.

During operation, the electromagnetic vibrator generates a magnetic field by energizing the iron core, causing periodic motion of the iron core, thereby driving the material in the feed trough to vibrate. This vibration makes the material evenly distributed in the feed trough, achieving efficient transportation. By adjusting the current size and frequency of the electromagnetic vibrator, the vibration amplitude and frequency can be accurately controlled to meet the requirements of different material transportation.

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder has many advantages, such as uniform transportation, precise control, energy saving and environmental protection. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and other industries for continuous transportation and feeding of granular materials. Compared with traditional mechanical conveying equipment, electromagnetic vibrating feeder has the advantages of low energy consumption, low noise, and easy maintenance, and is widely used and favored in industrial production.

1. The electrical control of the electromagnetic vibrating feeder adopts a half-wave rectifier circuit, which can adjust the feeding amount steplessly. It can be used in the production process of automatic control to realize the automation of the production process.

2. There are no rotating parts, no lubrication is required, the structure is simple, and maintenance is convenient.

3. The material of the electromagnetic vibrating feeder is a micro-throwing motion, and the material trough has little wear.

Electromagnetic vibrating feeder plays an important role in the industrial field. Through electromagnetic vibration technology, efficient material transportation is achieved, which provides convenience and efficiency for the production process.
