What exactly is a Repeat Prescription and how can QuickDoc help me?

Have you have moved Province, recently moved to Canada or just simply do not have a Family Physician or Doctor and you do not want to potentially spend hours of your time waiting in an urgent care centre for a prescription of your essential medication, or even more inappropriate, go to the Emergency Department for your medication request (which should be reserved for medical and traumatic emergencies only)? QuickDoc.Ca can bridge that gap and save you time by completing medication requests online, at your own convenience.

More than one in five people who live in Canada do not have access to primary care, according to a recent study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (May 2024). It is commonly thought of that in a universal healthcare system; which Canada has, that a functioning primary care system is the backbone of healthcare. In fact, there can be no universal health coverage without primary health care.

While QuickDoc.Ca does not claim to be a primary care service, we can indeed help you with your prescription needs and cover the gap so you do not need to go without your medication. It is a very simple process; if you have received prescribed medication before, you can submit a request on our Repeat Prescription Platform by simply registering with QuickDoc.Ca , uploading a photograph of your medication, your government issued ID and reason for request and one of our Canadian registered medical prescribers will aim to review your request within 24 hours. If approved, we will send the request to our competitively priced partner Pharmacy and they will contact you directly for payment and delivery.

At QuickDoc.Ca , we pride ourselves on our medical ethics and integrity and therefore will not accept requests which are potentially open to addiction or abuse such as (but not limited to) sedatives, stimulants, benzodiazepines, sleeping tablets, antidepressants and opiates.

We are also open and honest about our consultation fee, which is $35 Canadian Dollars per consultation that results in an approved prescription (you will not be charged for rejected requests). We believe in affordable and accessible healthcare, which is part of the ethos for a universal healthcare system and our fees are highly competitive compared with similar providers.
