What happens when the Ikigai meets the growth mindset?

Ikigai and the growth mindset. What happens when you combine two great concepts, approaches for your personal growth and development? Let’s try it out!

Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning the reason for being while the essence of the growth mindset is to instill a mindset that is wired towards learning and always trying to get better rather than believing - and proving - that you are the best.

Having this in mind, I have a little assignment for you.

What thought sparks and seeds do you get when you think of these two concepts and approaches in the context of your personal growth and development?

So, please post a comment with just one word or one sentence on what the combination of these two concepts, approaches makes you consider in the context of your work, career and life.

My personal take: Starting with the things I am good at today, what do I have to learn/improve on in order to have a process for continued growth so that I can be be paid for my work in the next decade?

Only one word or one sentence! Please comment. But if you don’t, I just hope you had some good inspiration for reflection. Thanks!
