What inspired me to start an internship as a Freelance Medical Writer at Klarity?

You won't hear a lot of successful people starting an unpaid internship after five years in their career but here I am your very own Medical Writer 😉 

Those of you who know me know that as a Medical Writer, I’ve been working with Telehealth companies, MedComms agencies, CROs, medical supplies, pharma, nutraceutical, pharma information blogs, medical universities, and healthcare companies for about five years now. 

While working with them as a writer, I craft regulatory submission documents, SEO-optimized content, and medico-marketing materials that allow me to bridge the gap between Pharma/Healthcare brands and their audience. 

My content also resonates with patients, professionals, and industry stakeholders and ranks well in search engines. I strive to make my client’s brand message stand out, meet industry standards, and gain the trust of their audience.

However, when I received an opportunity to work as an unpaid intern medical writer with  Klarity, I really did not give it much thought and said, 'Yes' because their mission, goals, and values align with mine.

Working remotely with Klarity as a Medical writer will be a good experience, giving me a chance to help individuals improve their health. Moreover, I will get an opportunity to write about topics I always wanted to, such as phobias, mental health and other relevant health problems. 

Klarity’s Oncology services are about educating cancer patients about their conditions, screening, and treatments which is one interesting cause to work for them.

While writing for Klarity’s Health Library, I will be able to contribute in the prevention of chronic health conditions. This will help me to educate them about lifestyle changes since they provide information about several conditions and their symptoms and suggest ways to manage them. Additionally, I will be able to write about Klarity topics ranging from mental health, skin care, sexual health, healthy eating, sleep, and more.

How does my Mission align with Klarity?

As the founder of Akasious, my mission was to write words that heal, engage, and inspire. Meanwhile, Klarity aims to empower individuals by providing accurate, evidence-based, accessible health information. Therefore, I can accomplish my mission while working as a medical writer intern at Klarity. The internship is free of cost but it totally resonates with the greater goals I have as a medical writer.

Hence, I will play a significant role in making a difference in the health sector by writing about the solutions Klarity is providing.

Furthermore, I always wanted to write about their Screening and Oncology Specialty Services and be a part of a community striving to play a significant role in making a difference in the health sector.

Eventually, the citizens will be able to manage their health and adopt a healthy lifestyle after reading my content.
