What kind of Palm vibe will you lean into?

Flew out of Houston over the weekend and hurricane Beryl slammed into my home city today!

As I wondered what to write at midnight in Nairobi, Palms came to mind - not only because it’s the area where home is called, there are a few palm trees outside the location I’m currently at which I observed earlier today.

It set me thinking:

At home there are Palms, where you are now there are Palms. The locations are different but my thoughts found a linkage and some encouragement. Sharing it….

What do Palms signify ?

Palms are unbranched trees with fan like long leaves. With over 2600 species of Palms on earth ala Wikipedia, they signify peace, resilience, triumph and victory.

Various species of palms are all carrying different levels of energetic peace, resilience, triumph or victory. 

A palm tree around you gives assurance of scents of water close by and something generally uplifting and relaxing especially when paired with blue skies.

There’s no power or internet connection on ground at home in the Palms…

Theres uneasy calm and cautiousness around the Palms where I am…

I choose to lean into and see the Palms that emanates peace, resilience, triumph and victory whatever my location. 

It’s okay to have troubleshooting & problem solving moments but don't forget to lean into a phase of pause and breathing that only makes things better amidst challenges.

Sending peace & triumph vibes to my home city in Houston & keeping resilience and victory vibes at my current Palms location in Nairobi.
