🫤What Are The Metrics?🫤

When a person says “metrics” too often, I get nervous.

(Yes, I contain multitudes.)

The word “metrics” can be used reflexively to give a patina of sophistication; it sounds like a person is impressive when they ask, “What are the metrics?” However, asking about metrics is not impactful; knowing how to use them correctly is. And metrics can be misused and manipulated when not adequately understood.
