Work-life balance is an emerging topic for every person who runs a business, employment, charitable trust works, personal works related, yet to settle in life stream etc.
It is a question popping up in everyone’s mind every day. However, such a question arising in a mind at an early stage could be better as it helps to pave the way for a better life strategy to be adopted soon.
It is a ha-ha moment sometime but many times, it becomes an eye-twisting feel of looking at things repeatedly every day. You may scream internally; pooh how long should I do the same thing repeatedly without any break? Please note, you are not alone in this state of mood, most people in the world are in the same way but it may slightly differ based on a person, situation, environment and how he feels it.
Do you want to break such boring work not to continue, but look for an alternative way? Hmm. You may need to apply a few twists in your thinking process. What is it? Well, you can read further down.
Before diving into the topic, let us as think about important questions which need a right answer so that one can think about finetuning while living a life of heavy load of tasks ahead every day.
1. Questioning yourself for more clarity:
When your internal process starts questioning you, then you are there and trying to solve your challenges you wish to change in a near future.
It is like digging deeply for a better water in a well. Many questions may give a whirlpool effect in a mind which gives more clarity while settling its slag. Then, you are relaxed for a while and start doing a self-review.
1. Why am I working?
2. What is the purpose of life?
3. Should I continue my busy schedules life long?
4. How much should I earn to lead a peaceful and happy life?
5. What is the age should I retire?
6. Can I enjoy the luxury of selflove lifestyle?
7. What is my worth?
8. What is my value?
9. What are the techniques to be adapted to be highly productive?
10. How efficient am I?
11. Do I have a deciding power in me? If so, how long should I work tirelessly to achieve what I believe?
12. What is my goal in pushing myself everyday with tons of works and tasks ahead?
13. Am I satisfying myself or society?
14. Am I simply doing a self-cheating lifestyle?
15. Should I set a time frame for carrying out my busy schedule to plan a luxury of enjoying myself with my beloved ones?
16. How to control needs and wants in life?
17. Am I greedy in leading my life blindly?
18. Should I simply wanted to satisfy someone else?
When you start writing questions by thinking every day and then building a confident of solving with your determination and perseverance, then you are walking on the right path. You may see a light in the tunnel on the way.
I am narrating below a real time life scenario everyone face every day most probably.
What is the life accomplishment you expect to achieve?
Accomplishment is equal to set the goal and start achieving it.
However, you feel, I want to achieve a goal, but I see a problem or challenge. So what?
Is it a roadblock for you only? Its applicable every person who are striving to pass a challenging life task.
It is the real time sense of every person who gets up from the bed and started feeling it.
The successful people think something beyond what others think.
2. Learn the trick of making into smaller pieces:
Let us consider this case:
Goal ahead with the Challenges behind.
You should learn how to grind the challenges or problems you face.
If you want to smash your problems or challenges, you need to grind it into pieces. Then it becomes smaller.
Challenges – diagnostic it
Find the pain points.
Start designing a solution.
Then keep doing it.
Learn the art of breaking into pieces of any hard work or hard task looking so hard or tight or uncompromising or non-accommodative or looking like a Himalayan task.
A simple trick is seeing a big stone to carry will be difficult. When you find right tools and break into pieces, you feel comfortable to carry it as much as possible. It is a seeing and visualizing effect in perfecting the productivity.
3. What is your ASPIRATION?
How much percentage you prepare to give for personal life and official life every day? Let us think in a generic way:
Personal Life = 50%
Official Life = 50 %
This becomes a perfect balance. But it can’t be equal and equally distributed all through out the life.
Now, you need to decide, where to make a balance and imbalance based on above simple arithmetic view.
What do you aspire to become?
The answer for above question sets the right equation.
Is it possible to think of striking a 50% score to balance the work-life when you work in Multinational companies, corporate world and even in Government organizations?
Every person is aspiring to grow in status and position by doing a better education.
If it happens, then they are forced to spend more hours in official life.
Then it brings a tilting in %?
ASPIRATION brings more career growth prospect.
The career growth brings more responsibilities.
When responsibilities grow, then you are forced to lock your timing to do those planned growth-oriented tasks.
It signifies the tilting aspect of a personal life.
You need to review and arrive a self- understanding as, how much you want to earn in 10 years’ time, then what is the next plan of move? Based on your wants and needs, your 24 hours of a day could be balanced.
4. Mastering Your Mind:
God has given ultimately, an ultra highly valuable assets to human being free is a human body. Only few people are thinking about it and thanking the creator. One of such assets of God given to human being free is BRAIN.
The insight of a brain is astonishing, and it does a tactful and wonderful job for everyone. It weighs 2% of the total weight of an individual. But it requires 20% of nutrition to function properly.
Your brain needs to be cluster free always. More you carry forward and occupy it, then the great skill of thinking won’t fetch you best ideas.

The work- life balance mastering is based on how you master your BRAIN. Even the science and research keep going towards finding more insights of brain and it is one of the miracles of God.
Its ultra superpower and its capability keep revolving, then finding out more shocking and surprising facts in medical research from time to time is a never-ending process.

My focus in this article is not to extensively write about the BRAIN and title is about work-life balance. However, it is relatively involved to the human life wellbeing is beyond any imagination.
But I would like to reemphasize the fact of fine tuning your thought process and understanding of brain functioning to do a day-to-day life and its productivity makes you to surprise and shock, because how to use its power should be well reviewed and implemented.
When you look at balancing yourself in the present environment, then you need to have a high ENERGY and contented EMOTION.
Finding the result of resolution of tension becomes a contentment where one may have a feeling of satisfaction having resolved a difficulty or achieving the goal.
One of the personal development activities is, doing exercise regularly and keep moving the body from static position. It means, not to sit in a place or position for hours together and then it becomes static.
You may get into a health problem sooner or later. That’s why, you should understand, motion generates emotion.
It’s a mind voice of hearing hmm, uh, oh, ush, etc like so many rhythms being heard by everyone who are going through such experience. If you take a reality and mind to mind survey, its impact is obviously high.
However, the employees are so not ungrateful for their employers to plot red marks while doing exit from the employment. The imperfect work-life balance could cause many star-studded employees to leave their job.
Of course, there are so many internal twists which are not exposed by employees. This is one main reason why many companies are exploiting their employees.
If you are looking for figuring out how to balance your work-life is a game and it is fully under your control. You can look at some questions to be asked by self in the first page of this article.
Those questions are golden nuggets to ask yourself. The life starts with education, then settling in job and to take care of house chores etc are making every person as a machine-like work style.
The energy you are getting is important. It is not possible to get the same energy all your lifetime. The young stage is a king of energy and then middle stage becomes a queen of energy and then keep slowing down when ages. This shall be noticed while you start your earnings.
The self-mastering art of oneself is important to win every situation a person may face in day-to-day life. It applies to everyone irrespective of position, status. That’s why experts talk about strengthening the mental strength.
When your sleep is good, then mind becomes peaceful. The functioning of human parts in a body will also be efficiently engaged with best nutritious food you eat, by drinking plenty of water, doing regular exercise for few minutes if not for an hour, controlling your electronic gadgets as right.
I am also mentioning here few key points in a book called “7 habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R Covey.
5. Be Proactive:
It is a process of self-initiation. Taking in-charge of yourself and taking radical responsibilities of your problems, challenges being faced. The two categories of people are discussed here. Proactive and reactive.
The proactive people know how to take it on further on a given situation. The reactive people think in a different way and find nowhere some solutions will come. It is all mental attitudes.
The circle of concern makes you to look outside and start blaming the external factors, emanating the negative feelings and makes the circle of influence to shrink That’s why I am emphasizing the mastering tactics of mind.
The above picture depicts about taking a load of concerns inside and being occupied with struggling mental attitude rather captivating of influencing positive thoughts of oneself. Your concerns are greater than influencing.
As per Stephen Covey, be proactive attitude is important while influencing your circle rather than your circle of concern. It becomes a barrier and then smoothening may be a challenging later.
In general, the circle of concern will overtake circle of influence in you. That should be carefully reviewed and ignored. That’s why we see most of the youngsters are mentally imbalanced and growing concern of depression at an early stage.
It is an alarming situation. The parents should nurture the children at young stage with best positive attitudes, problem solving techniques, how to get out of conflict in any situation and contended with a cool minded approach in a simple and understanding way.
The illustration of stories with visualization technique makes them to understand and grasp faster. When they become grown up, they could remember easily. Any idea is taught in a simple, storytelling and visualization way, it stays in their mind for ever.
6. Put first things first.
This is the second important key points of Stephen Covey. In life, whether it is personal or business or official, there are two things should happen on any task. They are as follows:
1. Urgent
2. Important
If you look at above sketch, I have listed these two words which are happen in any given situation when you set out the goal, tasks.
Any given or assigned task becomes urgent and sometimes not urgent. Then it becomes a pair in action.
Similarly, any given task becomes important and sometimes not important. Then it becomes a pair in action.
Let us discuss as per table.
When any given or assigned task becomes important and urgent, then the action becomes “DO”.
When any given or assigned task becomes important and not urgent, then the action becomes “PLAN”.
When any given or assigned task becomes not important and urgent, then the action becomes “DELEGATE”.
When any given or assigned task becomes not important and not urgent, then the action becomes “ELIMINATE”.
The above details will help you to prioritize your needs and wants. What do you want and what do you need are having significant difference and you need to explore deeper for the great understanding and define those as right.
To prove a balanced work-life, the above gamification could be reviewed and implemented. When you thoroughly review with simple “to do list”, then you can streamline your tasks, activities and highly productive.
Your progressive chart could be enhanced day by day and a happy and mindful enthusiasm could be seen in you.
7. Sharpen the saw:
I have explained about the tactics of mastering your mind. This makes your personal development area highly streamlined through deliberate actions and recharge your ENERGY.
Honing your personal development activities will effectively help in nurturing the responsibilities, priorities and keep yourself away from procrastination. You feel like having light heart, more joy inside and make you to do many tasks and activities more than normal days of mood.
As per Stephen Covey, there are four areas need to be investigated such as
a. Physical Renewal
b. Mental Renewal
c. Spiritual renewal
d. Social / Emotional renewal.
When you see above titles, you can understand its details and the insights. So, planning your activities, streamline and implement will bring more productivity in you sooner. Then, you can start feeling those benefits.
The details mentioned in my article will help you to look at you intensively and know where you are. Then learn where you should be in a near future.
You should always ask yourself; how could I prove my worth thereby understanding, what is my value, what is the purpose of living and start contributing self-first.

Life is cool and treat yourself also cool in handling any situation. Remember, you have two legs to balance your body, but practice mind to balance your life. There is nothing beyond control unless you find yourself a most important key in you.

1. It is must to ask yourself, how to make work-life balance every day? That’s why I have mentioned initially, ask yourself more questions. When you generate noteworthy questions in filtering of what you are doing, then you are trying to reach stability by seeking the answers for those questions. It brings more clarity and efficiency.
2. Learn how to solve or find solution for big tasks or assignments by making into smaller bits and start doing it. It brings motivation to do it faster.
3. Gauge your aspiration and nurture it.
4. Learn the art of mastering your mind and practice it.
5. Learn the tactics of Stephen Covey’s key points like be proactive, put first things first, sharpen the saw and physical, mental, spiritual, social/ emotional renewals.
