I’m talking about the essential, raw truth of self-care and why it’s indispensable in our relentless, no-excuses world.

What Self-Care Is—And What It Isn’t

Self-care transcends mere pampering or taking a day off. It’s about consistently checking in with yourself—mentally, physically, and emotionally—to stay resilient amidst life’s challenges. Contrary to popular belief, self-care is not selfish. It’s about replenishing our own reserves so we can contribute effectively to our family, job, or passions. Running on empty benefits no one.
