What should you do when you hit your Revenue Ceiling?
Every entrepreneur at some point in their career will hit a ceiling where they feel stuck. I get you and I know what it feels like.
It might be in your relationships, your revenue, and other things. It feels discouraging at first, but it’s a perfectly normal thing to experience! No one's perfect. Like, I’m here today to flat out tell you that I’m not perfect myself. There's nothing perfect about me. We are just flawed human beings, trying to evolve and get better.
When I hit ceilings in my career, when I was at that place in my business and I couldn't get past that revenue ceiling, it caused challenges in other parts of my life. It was tough dealing with both my business and relationships, you know?
Though for today, I want to talk to you about what I've come to discover after hitting multiple ceilings in multiple parts of my life. This is the most important thing for you to take away:
At the end of the day, we all have the tools that we need somewhere inside.
Despite your insecurities and limiting beliefs, you have unlimited capacity, unlimited potential to achieve the things that you want to achieve in your life. You have it in you!
We don’t have time to feel down and complain when we get stuck. If you get stuck, be it personal or business, personal experience has taught me this other important lesson:
You and I HAVE to evolve.
We NEED to become another person in order to get past that ceiling, right? That’s the only way we can become better. Though things get a but challenging because it’s during these times when we start to make excuses.
We start to say: “It’s because of this,” or “Because of that,” or like in business I've said it like the social workers connect more with male or females than the males. You tell yourself stories that you started too late, other companies have all the great employees, and so on.

You can keep telling yourself these stories, but it all comes back to this: “I need to grow ME.”
You need to fix yourself, to learn, to evolve. I want to use the word evolve because that's really what it is. At the end of the day, we must consistently evolve.
Looking back at moments in my life there were plenty of moments where I hit that ceiling. It was the same pattern: I got complacent, I got comfortable with where I was. Then, I stopped evolving, and I would let a part of my life go because I was complacent.
Don’t fall into that pattern, because let me tell you now, you're going to hit ceilings again and again and again and again. As much as I'd like to say like it's just going to be easy and everything's easy and everything just flows together, it’s not. The reality is is that when we hit that ceiling, it's just a way of helping us realize that we have to evolve past it, right?
When we see other people succeeding, why not have this thought: “Why can't that be me? Why can't that be you? Why can't that be you or me?”
And it can be! We only hold ourselves back because we tell ourselves a story whyit’s not possible.
Entrepreneurship is as much a mental thing as it is like doing and knowledge and all this stuff. It's a mental thing and when we're able to make that switch in our brain like “It is possible!” and “It can be me!” and “It should be me!” amazing things happen.
We make that switch in the mind, and then we start taking steps toward that desire, towards that action, towards that intention. It’s a massive leap to take action to achieve what we desire.
Then you break through and you get to that next level. I wanted to share this to you because it breaks my heart when I hear people say they can’t do it because I’ve been in the same situations that they are in today. So it's as much a reminder for myself as it is for you to always evolve and do your best to achieve the results you want.
