What starts with C and gets you a W?

Most of us used to hate group projects in school.............

Well, unless you were homeschooled!

In any case, I always got stuck with having to be the one to do a lot of the work because my group wasn't motivated. I think once in college I FINALLY got a good group, but not prior to.

Maybe that's how some people feel about collaboration in their professional life, but one of the biggest keys to my growth in business and life has been collaboration.

You see, collaboration allows you to get fellowship and practical knowledge in real time!

Books and podcasts are great, but that is a 3rd person kind of event. When you find someone you can work with, I feel like it can 10x knowledge!

There are a lot of ways you can collaborate to get your start in this way of working without having to spend any money!

You can:

• Do a live event together
• Use a free space for some kind of event
• Do a podcast/Youtube episode
• Cross pollinate networks
• Introduce someone to a resource of yours
• Give insights to a friend on a project they're working on that you're knowledgeable about

LinkedIn has been 1 big ocean of collaboration for me and I am forever grateful for that!

1 such collaboration happening now is an event called Black Friday here in Atlanta!
