What We Are Seeking And Need In Today's World - What We Are Consistently Missing

It Feels Like the World is Seeking Something Desperately.

However, People are Struggling to Put Their Finger On It.

You can Hear it in the Outcries.

From All Industries and Backgrounds.

Something is Needed.

But What?

Is it Higher Productivity?

No.

Higher Productivity is Not the Answer that is Needed.

Productivity Alone is Useless.

There are plenty of Businesses and People who get "High Productivity" but are Still Struggling to get the Results they Want.

Some even have a form of Hyper-Productivity that is Crashing their Lives and Businesses into the Ground.

Burnout Abounds.

What the World Seeks is something else.

Is it Strong Leadership?

No.

There are Plenty of Strong Leaders that Exist.

They have All the Skills Needed of a Leader.

These Leaders have been through All the Courses.

Continue to Develop Themselves Consistently.

Yet, they Still Fail.

Unable to Align Their Teams.

Unable to Get the Results Needed for Their Success.

It all Crashes Down.

What the World Seeks is something else.

Is it Innovation?

No.

We've Seen Plenty of Innovations in the Past Few Years.

Most of them have been Unceremoniously Hated by the Majority.

Leaps and Bounds in Technology.

Yet, No One Wants Them.

We've watched many of the Top Innovative Businesses in the World Flop Again...

And Again...

And Again...

Innovation is Not Providing.

What the World Seeks is something else.

Is it Caring?

No.

There are Organizations that Prove they Care for the World.

So Many Different Causes are Cared For.

The Children.

The Homeless.

The Displaced.

The Sick.

The Broken.

The Animals At Risk of Extinction.

The Dying World.

All of these Causes and More are Being Funded.

Some to Extreme Levels.

These Causes are Filled with People Who are Deeply Caring.

Who Give their Own Lives to Improve the Lives of Others.

Yet, we are Not Seeing the Causes Improve.

Most of them Seem to be Getting Worse.

Significantly.

It is No Fault of Those Who Deeply Care.

But Caring Alone is Not Creating the Answers We Are Searching For.

What the World Seeks is something else.

Is it Energy (Mg-ATP)?

No.

Even though this is a Favorite Topic of Mine to Write About.

Our World is Strongly Lacking in Energy (Mg-ATP) that our Bodies Need to Thrive.

We are at an All-Time Low of Human Energy.

But if we Look at those who Do have Energy.

Those Not Trapped in Burnout.

Those who Find a Way to Wake Up Feeling Refreshed.

Who's Energy Allows them to Feel Good All Day.

Where they Know How to Aim their Energy.

It Still Doesn't Seem to Be Accomplishing What We Need.

What the World Seeks is something else.

Is it Wisdom?

No.

There are Many Wise People in the World.

People We Should Listen To.

Who's Wisdom is Incredibly Impactful.

Wisdom that is Capable of Healing.

Our Minds.

Our Hearts.

Our Emotions.

Our Spirits.

Even Our Bodies.

Wisdom that is Capable of Improving our Lives.

But it is Not Enough.

Even those who these Wise People Help are still Seeking.

Their Wisdom is Received, but it Does Not Satisfy what is Needed.

What the World Seeks is something else.

When we Look at All of These, we Find Solutions that are Not Working.

There is Still an Outcry from the World.

There is Still Something Missing.

Needed.

We Know it is Missing.

We can Feel it Is Not There.

We are Desperate to Put Our Fingers on It.

To Grasp It.

But it Still Seems to Allude Us.

In Every Industry in the World.

From the Smallest of Levels.

To the Largest.

We Are Seeking, But Not Finding.

Why?

Perhaps the Problem is that We are Seeking Too Small.

In Science, it is called "Reductionism".

We Seek to Smaller and Smaller Levels.

"Reducing" our Insights to Tinier and Tinier Levels.

We get More Specific.

More Precise.

There are Benefits to this.

Yet, it can also become Problematic.

Very Quickly.

If you Think about Productivity and Innovation, for example, there is something called "The Paperclip Problem".

We have a theoretical world where AI actually works.

You give this AI a Task.

Maximize Productivity in Paperclip Production.

So, the AI goes about its task.

It Indeed figures out a way to Accomplish its Task.

But at What Cost?

The AI continues to Grow and Continues to Produce Paperclips.

It Continues to Design More and More Innovative Solutions to Accomplish Its Goal.

Until Maximal Paperclip Production has been Achieved.

The Highest Number of Paperclips Potentially Possible to be Created has been Made.

The Goal Has Been Accomplished.

All that it Cost was the Complete Destruction of Humanity and the Environment, All for the Goal of Paperclip Maximization.

The AI, of Course, had to Destroy the Environment to Gain Access to All of the Resources Potentially Available to Make Paperclips.

The AI, of Course, had to Destroy Humanity because the Humans began to get Upset when Resources were Diverted toward Paperclip Production.

The AI, of Course, had to Replace Humans because Humans Refused to Serve the Goal of Paperclip Production.

All Very Logical Conclusions for the Goal of Paperclip Production.

At least, from a Reductionist Perspective.

This is a Hypothetical Scenario, but it Reveals the Flaw of Reductionistic Thinking.

If you Only Reduce your Vision, You Lose Sight of the Larger Picture.

This is Our Problem.

We have Reduced Our Vision to Singular Concepts.

Productivity.

Leadership.

Innovation.

Caring.

Energy.

Wisdom.

But what We Seek is Not Any Singular Thing.

What We Seek is All of These Together.

We Do Not Need More Reductionism.

We Seek Holism.

We Seek Wise Leaders who Improve Energy (Mg-ATP), and Guide Productivity toward Innovative Solutions that Prove They Care about People and the World.

I call this, "Seeking Sageship".

It is about Understanding the Entirety of the Ecosystems we Exist Within, and using Holism to Improve the Entire Ecosystem.

You Cultivate the Ecosystem.

Help Everyone and Everything within it Flourish.

All Flourishing Is Mutual.

It can Only Be Accomplished When the Entire Ecosystem Flourishes.

This is what We are Seeking.
