What Your Watch Says About You – Part 3
We have some items here, mainly APs and Rolexes, and I’ll explain what each piece says about the owner.
Starting from the top left to right.
Remember, this is from a dealer’s perspective. Many people might have differing views; however, time is our business.
1) AP Royal Oak Offshore 42mm “Brick” in Rose Gold. Being almost 1lb of gold and trading nearly 100K at one point, this says loud and clear: “The Boss Has Arrived!” (I wear one daily.)
2) AP Royal Oak 39mm Brown Dial. A unique yet classic example of a Royal Oak. Trading around 40K, this piece says, classy and sophisticated.
3) AP Royal Oak 15450ST 37mm. We hope this is for your wife, as it’s a small dial and case; however, whoever wears it has incredible taste – excellent buy, around 30K.
4) Omega Seamaster Ploprof 55x48mm, we hope you’re a hardcore diver. If not, you want everyone to know you have 8k on your wrist as you couldn’t miss this thing from the space station.
5) Rolex Submariner 41mm “Bluesy” in Solid Gold. It’s a classic yellow gold big boy piece. This Rolex screams I made it and I am proud. With every reason to be. (I love this one and wear often.)
6) Rolex Submariner 41mm “Bluesy” in Two-Tone Gold. Anyone who wears this loves gold, blue and Rolex. They are also very smart, as it’s one of the best buys under the 20k mark. (I wear them often.)
7) Rolex Submariner 40mm “Hulk”. Anyone who wears this piece knows it will rise in value, loves green or enjoys being different from the pack. An excellent example here.
8) Rolex GMT Master II 40mm “Batman”. It is one of, if not the most, “hyped” modern Rolexes ever produced. They are very common and yet everyone wearing them thinks they are rare.
9) Rolex GMT Master II 40mm “Coke”. Anyone wearing the Coke either loves a nice vintage Rolex or loves some red on the bezel. It’s a 50/50, having sold dozens.
10) Rolex GMT Master II 40mm. Most who wear this don’t want to buy a Submariner, and they prefer the GMT and how they wear it.
11) Rolex Daytona Zenith 40mm White Gold Diamond Dial. This says class, elegance, and style. They are worn often by both men and women. Killer piece.
12) Rolex Datejust 41mm Wimbledon Two-Tone Rose Gold. Oddly, most who buy and wear this piece are not tennis fans. They love the color scheme and I can see why. It’s a pretty timepiece, especially with its green Roman Markers.

13) Rolex Sea Dweller “Red Letter” 43mm. Often worn by those who want something a touch bigger than a typical Submariner, the Sea Dweller does the trick.
14) Rolex Oyster Quartz. It is one of the better options of the entry-level Rolex lineup. This piece says I wanted a Rolex but I didn’t want to break the bank.
15) Breitling Montbrialliant Olympus Moonphase Yellow Gold 43mm. A very rare piece. This one screams investment as the value has and is rising.
16) PAM 2020. In typical PAM fashion, you either hate Swiss brands, love Italian, or are complicated, which is perfectly fine.
17) Louis Vuitton. You either love fashion or got ripped off. One, the other, or both.
18) Cartier Tank. Sleek, classy and elegant.
