what if you're wrong?

what if you're wrong?

Dear You,

I recently considered this thought: What if I am wrong? What if the way you perceive failure is wrong? Let me explain.

Remember that game I told you about in my last letter? Something interesting happened to me when I played the game and lost. That became one of my favourite things.

It was finding out that I got rewards even when I failed. If I attacked a level 30 monster with a level 15 might and hurt the monster by 40%, I get rewards. This meant that if I was willing to try three times, I could defeat the monster.

That insight unlocked so much for me because we sometimes interpret failure or defeat as a loss, but what if it is an unseen win, and we just have to keep at it a few more times for our win and success to be visible?

This has changed my perception of failure, and I wanted to share it with you. What if that rejection was not a failure; it just needed you to keep hitting the same point a few more times? What if?

Maybe we need to consider looking at failure from a new lens. Maybe it's invisible success, and it requires more time, effort, and practice to be a success.

With Love,

Blessing Abeng

Absolutely, I love how the game isn't sounding just like another game but a lesson to be learnt We really should see failure from another lens and it will help us react better to it
