What’s blocking you from a six-figure job...

What’s blocking you from a six-figure job...

One of my clients said this to me:

“I’ve been at this for a few months & I can’t seem to land the job, I know I’m skilled, I know I’m capable, I know I’m hard working and deliver results, what is BLOCKING me?"

I asked some questions and it was instantly clear…

Here’s the thing: before you land consistent job offers, & before you become well known in your industry as someone who does (the thing you do)...

You will be tempted to change things before they start to work:

✅ Change your strategy

✅ Change your goal

✅ Change the pay you accept

You’ll want to CHANGE those things because…

Your brain will tell you that if you change them it will "be easier".

You’ll start doubting your abilities, lowering your salary expectations etc, (but changing these things still doesn’t change your results)...

Changing things on the outside makes you energetically unavailable to receive (what you really want) because you’re compromising on it, lowers your standards.

What happens when you change things like this is it's hard to gain traction when you keep changing directions. It's like putting a new destination into the GPS every 5 minutes, it can't guide you to the original path you wanted.

Now I’m not talking to you if you're still not sure what you want, & you're exploring new things.

I’m talking to the person who knows what they want but has been working at it for a while without the result coming in yet.

So if you're in this loop of what seems like no success.

Think about this:

If you wanted to grow a crab apple tree, would you…

Plant the seed 🌱

Then pick at it every day

Feel frustrated that it's not growing fast enough

Then dig it up and plant it somewhere else, hoping it grows faster?

Or would you water it consistently (even find a way to see the roots grow) and know that the roots are growing and the fruit is guaranteed from the strong roots?

This line of thinking has brought me in multiple offers and multiple clients over and over again.

Picking at the seed is what kills the momentum AND slows down the progress.

I have seen it over and over with myself.

If I kept changing my coaching niche before I had any success I wouldn’t have been in it long enough to get traction.

If I stopped making offers just because people were rejecting them, I wouldn’t have gained momentum in the first place.

& for the record, I tried to do this.

I tried to change my coaching niche a few times. But my smart coaches talked me out of it and I’m grateful they did.

These are the seeds you need to plant and water consistently, so they grow roots to support your reliable six-figure and multiple six-figure career!

It’s not as simple as just "applying for jobs” & hoping you get called back.

You need a mindset that is so solid that you'll expect the offer to come in.

No matter what outside results say at any given moment.

This is what I know. Let me help you see it too ❤️

It’s so natural to make those adjustments, Natalie. You’re so right. There are suggestions you may not be in the right $ target for 2024 but the likelihood is just timing. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep improving. When the timing is right, the magic will happen!

Beautifully said. Often times if we take a moment to look at ourselves, we can figure out where we are going wrong.

It’s so true that changing too much can slow you down. Stick with your path and trust the process. Sometimes the results take time, but they’ll come if you stay focused. Great advice, Natalie Fisher
