Hello, you lovely, beautiful and very special human being! 

Does this opener make you feel a bit ‘sick in your mouth?’ if so - we’ve got some work to do. March is finally here and this month I am focussing on why on earth we aren’t kinder to ourselves. Particularly as women. 

I mentioned in our group coaching session the other day just what the impact would be if we all liked - nah - LOVED ourselves more. It would be carnage. We’d be running around as if we are unstoppable, and that dear friend is DANGEROUS. 

That’s why we have to hack our biology aka; the thoughts that keep us safe - and start actively working on our thinking and the impact this is having on us showing up for ourselves, our businesses, our opinions and great causes.

Buckle up for a month of self love and adoration!

This Month’s coaching question

This is where I share with you, what a lot of The Collective found an eye opening set of questions. 

1. What are you proud of?

2. What thoughts have mostly been going through your mind this week?

3. How much of what you’re proud of has been running through your mind compared to the things you mentioned in your answer to question 2?

Exactly my point. 

Noticing your thinking and how it impacts you on a very frequent basis is a High Performance habit. Let this sink in, ask the question of yourself in your journaling and take action from there. Awareness is the first step.

I’d like to shout out an Academy member this month, who is being so incredibly open to coaching and taking action. I always said coaching with me is not a warm bath - but this lady has thrown herself in and is working through some very scary and also very exciting growth pains. I’d like to take my hat off to Siobhan Mears - a Business Strategist who has worked with some INCREDIBLE women to plan out and execute their business needs. 

She has kindly connected me to one of her clients - Mel Schilling who will be speaking at the Female Founders Summit in July as our headline speaker. You might know her as one of the experts from Married at First Sight. Siobhan got us together at Anna Whitehouses Podcast event in London and I am so grateful to her for making that introduction. 

In the few months that we have been working together, Siobhan has taken MASSIVE action and I am so proud to be able to call myself her coach. Thank you Siobhan. 

Collective Member of the month

It’s been another month of welcoming committed members to The Collective - and I’d like to start recognising some of the incredible Female Founders that show up week in week out for themselves and their Businesses. 

This month we would love to shout out Kate Burgess. Kate helped me set up my Facebook ads a few months back and since working together, she has regularly and consistently shown up for herself and her business. 

She is an Aussie who moved to Edinburgh with a wealth of advertising experience. A warm heart and a real go-getter makes Kate a brilliant match for The Collective. Thanks Kate for being so committed to your growth - I loved working with you.

What I’m Watching

Okay. Deep breath everyone - this might well surprise you. This month - on the theme of love; I have chosen the recent ‘The Last of Us’. The global gaming phenomenon was turned into a series this year and has been very well received by critics for its portrayal of apocalyptic events. Not for the faint of heart - but well worth the watch. 

If nothing else I would love for you to watch episode 3. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but quite frankly this is the best television I think I have ever seen. The story, the cinematography, the acting, the bigger picture. Just. BELLISSIMO. 

There was not a dry eye in the house when we watched it. 

What I’m Listening to

Well. What. Can. I. Say. 

One of my clients and her husband released their first Podcast together - and I LOVE it. Hayley Appleby-Burtt and James Burtt are a brilliant business couple who share a LOT of nonsense and common sense with their audience in their pod - Business Marriage.

I laughed hard. And for anyone out there that lives with someone in business its a refreshing must listen!

Hearing Hayley and James talk so openly shows me just how important LOVE is when it comes to keeping your business running.

What’s Coming up at Lucienne Coaching

Plans for the Female Founders Summit are well underway and tickets will be up for sale very soon. 

As with last year - there are only 50 tickets and all proceeds go to charity. We have all day Masterclasses being given by some of my most incredible clients, as well as an evening summit with an extra special guest speaker. 

I CANNOT wait to announce the line-up but I can tell you that Lea Turner and Carrie Green have already confirmed that they will be running Masterclasses again.
