Art will be available for purchase by Michael Bennett (pictured above) that was inspired by having conversations with people experiencing homelessness. Jah Smalls will also read and feature is poetry after the panelist discussion. The event is free but we encourage you to RSVP

Enjoy an evening of conversation with Andrew Young and author Ernie Suggs on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University as they discuss the newly published memoir The Many Lives of Andrew Young.

Our 18th annual Día de Los Muertos celebration will take place on Saturday, November 5th, from 12 noon to 8 pm. Day of the Dead is a local, intimate recreation of the Mexican Day of the Dead tradition.
This colorful and vibrant event will be held at Camp North End and features traditional foods, folkloric arts and crafts, community altars, traditional dances, and fun activities for children. This free, family-day celebration is educational and engaging for all ages.
