When Is The Best Time For a Career Sabbatical?

When Is The Best Time For a Career Sabbatical?

Do you wonder if stepping back in your career might give you the stress-free life you crave?

  • Are you at a breaking point and thinking of a sabbatical?
  • Are you parenting young kids and wondering if you should chill out in your career until they're older?
  • Are you considering finding a less stressful role in your company because no matter how hard you try you're always "on" 24/7?
  • Are you scared to death to step back, change gears, or make a move because you might damage your hard-won career?

These are common fears that we need to kick to the curb and start talking about the reality of when to step back and when stepping back is a big mistake.

In the following broadcast, I share:

  1. The best time to step back in your career
  2. The worst time to step back in your career
  3. How to step back successfully
  4. How to lean in and not have to step back at all...
And why sabbaticals sound romantic and enticing, but usually don't work out so well after all!

I've stepped up, stepped back, taken a sabbatical and lost more income than I care to count, yet gained priceless life lessons in the process.

This video shares what I've learned and what I now teach my clients on how to make the best choice for them so they can live a happy, vibrant life now and not damage their successful career.

Here's to celebrating the fulfillment of a challenging, successful career while living a thriving, present personal life.

Kathleen - this was great. I spent 20 years in the corporate world and when I moved to my own business I was definitely moving toward and not away.  I find with my clients ( business owners) that being clear about what you want to create takes some work and is worth the effort!
