Where there is a challenge, there is also a solution -Coaching is one of those solutions.

Where there is a challenge, there is also a solution -Coaching is one of those solutions.

There are many people in the business world as well as in daily life, struggling with the continuous global situation we find ourselves in; The many uncertainties, the constant changes, the way we have moved from the office space to online or a mix of both.

Just the realization of working from home, which might have seemed appealing at the beginning of 2020 for millions of people, has hit home in a massive way.

It has added to the challenges with many distractions to consider, such as lack of internet, children and animals around, needing attention and a long list of other items we never thought about.

All of this has caused communication challenges when we no longer can walk into someone’s office to get advice or information, when managers and leaders now have to work with teams spread all over, as well as lack of production partly due to those afore mentioned distractions, as well as lack of structure and discipline.

How wonderful would it be if we could reach out to someone who could walk alongside us, someone who would listen to our goals and challenges, someone who would be able to help us reach inside of ourselves to find the right answers?

There is such a person, … a coach!

Coaching is often misunderstood, under-estimated, as well as misrepresented in a variety of ways. When people hear about a coach, they often connect it to the sports world where they either shout from the side-lines what to do, how to do it and when to do it. These coaches are often people who have been involved in the field in some capacity before, have experience about this, and are paid to train and upskill others.

Yes, those are coaches but not the kind I am talking about. What I am suggesting is a coach who is a person you contract for a very different reason. When you connect with them, they will have an orientation session with you to ascertain your needs, set up a game-plan for you to achieve whatever it is, and walk alongside you in your journey.

Then he or she sits down with you on a regular basis, either in person or virtually, listens intently to all you have to say and asks questions with the sole aim to help you discover what is important to you in the area you seek support and development.

Coaching takes a view that the answers are always within the individual. Coaching is foreseeing, paving the way, coming alongside you while helping you achieve goals and overcome limiting paradigms. It will help stretch you and see a more empowering way.

Getting a Coach is one of the most refreshing and invaluable steps anyone can take, whether for business purposes or in your personal life.

It is worth noting that most successful people in life have a coach or have used the service of one in the past. (Some have more than one!)

I firmly believe that the positive difference you will experience in your business and life though your coaching journey, will make you wonder why you had not made this a part of your life much earlier….

It is never too late!
