Where to go for Apprenticeship Info:

Happy Half-Term.

Instead of the usual article, I thought I would use this week to highlight some of the best areas on the internet to go for more information or resources to find out more.

You might be an expert but I guarantee there is something there for everyone.

If you can suggest anything or anyone else as an expert worth following then post them in the comments.

Index:

  • Podcasts
  • News
  • Resource Hubs & Support Organisations

Starting with my favourite, Podcasts!

  1. A great episode to listen to from some key experts in the field from Catch22

2. Future Talent Talks by Shoshanna Davis & Holly Hobbs 🤳🏽 covers firsthand what you need to do to recruit the best talent.

3. Unconventional Podcast from Grace Hardy MAAT covering all sorts of careers with an especially good episode with former apprenticeships minister Rt Hon Robert Halfon .

4. A short series of podcasts with industry experts covering a range of areas. Hosted by Jon Jackson

5. An interesting podcast detaling the experiences of an apprentice at Next .

Next, we move to News!

  1. For me there is only one source here, FE Week . Lots of interesting and informative articles covering every area of apprenticeships, from the nuances to the basics.

2. The next best option is to keep up with the best newsletter in the world...

Next up, some more Resource Hubs & Support Organisations:

  1. My favourite support org is the The Careers & Enterprise Company which is incredibly useful for schools and employers alike, offering a huge amount in various ways.

2. Amazing Apprenticeships have been around for a while now and are a hub for all of your resources, information and guidance. Great for employers, students and teachers.

3. If you need template resources to help support your organsiations needs, take a look at Education Landscape.

4. The government also offers their own apprenticeship hub with information and guidance.

That is all for now.

Can you suggest more?
