Welcome to Orlando Business Journal's weekly LinkedIn newsletter. I'm Digital Producer/Senior Staff Writer Richard Bilbao, rounding up Orlando business news to keep you in the know when time is short.

Central Florida's population has seen dramatic changes in recent years, especially if your area is in any way related to the word "Lake."

The U.S. Census Bureau releases population estimates in city and ZIP code areas every year, and Central Florida has demonstrated a relatively even population growth.

Many of the fastest-growing sizable cities were in Lake County, such as Mascotte with 18.63% three-year growth, or 1,253 more people; Groveland at 18.48%, or 3,490 more; and Minneola at 13.72%, or 1,948 more.

Of the sizable areas that lost population in Central Florida, Eatonville reported 56 fewer people, or 2.39% of its population, and Altamonte Springs lost 1.38% of its population, or 636 people.
