Which LED should you choose and why. Who are there?

Today, there are a plethora of LEDs from different manufacturers that compete in both quality and cost efficiency. It has landed the market some really good brands. Philips is a manufacturer of diodes and in recent years has developed a new diode called Philips Lumileds in SMD3030 and SMD5050. Samsung has long made good diodes like Osram which has been on the market for a long time. The Nichia diodes are the LED chips that are in the lamp in the camera in your iPhone, for example, and are a Japanese quality brand among the better diodes. Nichia maintains a very high performance. From the USA, Bridgelux and CREE come with reliable diodes, but not necessarily better than diodes from any other country mentioned. Taiwan has Epistar, which has developed an elongated diode SMD2835 that fits, for example, LED tubes as the ones placed sideways do not break even if the tube were to break.

There are of course many more diodes, but we have chosen to market only the best with the longest life cycle cost and performance. There are of course other diodes on the market that have a significantly lower price, such as Sansan, but the quality is also accordingly. Even Philips has a poorer stable with diodes that they use for their own products, often giving longevity a good indication of the quality of the diode. Otherwise, ask your dealer.
