Not everything is about work,work, work! As humans, we need to pay attention to other things that might impede our careers and professional life,one of which is knowing who we really are.

A lot of people have lost their identities walking in the shadow of others because they admire them or value their input in their lives .

It's not bad to have a mentor,a coach, teacher or someone you look upto, but not at the expense of your self esteem,self worth and value.

Who determines YOU? God & You OR Others?

When 'others' determine 'you',they have access to the script of your life.How you think,feel,act or even appear at the detriment of your own person,ideas,ideals, or even intellect.

Every person has special qualities inherent in them,but due to fear,failure, perception and other emotions ,they prefer to tail after and hold unto what others say or think they are and hold that as the truth.

Some people have been told they can never amount to anything,are good for nothing,can never be loved , unattractive etc, and some have even been been told they should never have been born.How cruel!

I remember when I had not yet discovered my self worth and lived with self rejection,self loathing and ridicule, I always felt I wasn't good enough because of the ' beauty marks ' from the scars of the accident, I had when I was just a child .

You know why? I lived in other people's labels and limiting beliefs.I allowed their perception of me ,shape me and cloud my person.

Such labels included; ugly, hideous ,and even at times retarded😢.

Those words shaped my life for a long time and I walked in other people's descriptions and translations of who I was.At a point ,others determined me until I got to a place of self discovery, re-evaluation and eventual 'freedom'.

Only GOD & YOU have the RIGHT to define you at any point in time . God, because He made you and fashioned you after his similitude and You, because everything you do and become is from within.

Believe in yourself,build and develop capacity,learn to embrace your flaws and imperfections and you will be as good as new. The prescence of OTHERS in your life is just an addition to what is already deposited on the inside of you .

Just know that ,YOU ARE ENOUGH!

...and always remember,only GOD & YOU can determine YOU.
