Why am I a Realtor? What is my Why?
So, back toward the end of 2012, my career at Intuit was starting to come to an end. I had always kept my hand on the pulse of the Real Estate Market and what was going on. I was always and still am fascinated by it, I learn something new every day. So, I had made a decision to leave Intuit around Christmas 2013 and go to Real Estate School January 2014. However, things at Intuit went sour very quickly in the first half of 2013, so I took a buyout, went to Real Estate School in July 2013, and was licensed on August 2nd 2013. Yes, I can always tell you it is about freedom and making money. That is only the small part of it.
What I learned very quickly about this business, was the people, it is always about the people, helping them with their needs when it comes to Real Estate. It's about dreams coming true and the smiles for the First Time Home Buyer. Helping the seller who was in a financial condition, and the home had to be sold for them to maintain their well being, and the ability to buy again later on down the road when things got better. It is about the family that is growing, and need to sell their smaller home and purchase a larger home, so they can grow their family. Or the Empty Nester that has a large home, needs to sell it, and find something more suitable for two people. Many stories like this, I can tell you.
In our industry, I have had the privilege to meet and work with some truly incredible people as client as well as other Realtors, Escrow Companies, Loan Officers, Contractors, Handymen, Home Inspectors, etc... I maintain a great relationship with all these people and meet new people all the time. Clients have been great, many of them have bought and sold multiple properties with me. Bottom line, it is about the people. I love being a Realtor, and would love to help you.
