Christian Louboutin Invests Personally in French Hospitality Group

Underscoring luxury’s current fascination with luxury hospitality, Christian Louboutin has made a personal investment in Experimental Group, a French operator of upscale boutique hotels, cocktail bars, restaurants and beach clubs in Europe.

Financial terms were not disclosed; however, Louboutin’s investment yielded a minority stake.

Founded in 2007 by childhood friends Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée De Goriainoff, Experimental started with a small bar on a side street in Paris with a mission of bringing classy cocktail culture back to the French capital. A fourth partner, Xavier Padovani, came on board in 2010, foreshadowing an expansion drive.

Why Is Amazon Doubling Down in Luxury and Backing the Saks-Neiman’s Deal?

The fashion industry has been buzzing about a deal to bring Saks Fifth Avenue together with Neiman Marcus for years — decades, even — but when it finally came last week, it came with a twist: Amazon

The e-commerce giant is among the players investing in the $2.65 billion deal that will have Richard Baker’s HBC buy Neiman Marcus and meld it with Saks into a new organization called Saks Global. Cloud-based commerce company Salesforce also plans to invest as the transaction closes. 

It’s a deal that comes with plenty of questions.

How Dôen Became the Hottest Brand of the Summer, Evolving From Cottage-core to Fashion

When Brie Larson and Alexandra Daddario accidentally had a twinning moment in the same Dôen polka-dot dress at a press conference in Italy last month, it went viral.

“We were thrilled because everyone always shows up in our office in the same thing. It’s a collective consciousness,” said the fashion brand’s cofounder Margaret Kleveland.

Dakota Johnson stepped out in the Dôen Nevara yellow floral sundress and sneakers while filming “Materialists” on the streets of New York; Kaia Gerber wore the Greta white peasant top with her jeans out and about in Los Angeles, and at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand, Michelle Monaghan has been wearing “a very special piece” that will be seen in the third season of “White Lotus.”

Because Amazon will buy them both and turn them into Amazon E-commerce ,this is sad especially for a super high end Retail and the gorgeous events they do in Neiman Marcus I have no idea why they are allowing that .
