Why Bitcoin will NEVER BE money... and, why I still invest in it!

People sadly try to paint a narrative that Bitcoin is "perfect money" - when it is far from it. Nothing about it, gives it money-ness. In order to provide a fake narrative for their statement, many Bitcoin Hardliners share the chart below, where bitcoin has to become a digital collectible first, which it supposedly achieved already - which is entirely incorrect.

For some basic math: With Bitcoin sats it means, 2,100 trillion sats (2,100,000,000,000,000) can be collected by roughly 7 billion people (or around 3 million sats a person, if you exclude super old and super young humans). Tell me again, what is rare about something that you can have 3 million things from?!?! Something that is truly rare, should exist less than 1 per person each. And no, you cannot suddenly go for the "wholecoiner" story, where it is first about whole bitcoins, aka 21 mil sats. Cause that would mean, along the path, you can't split them up again, which you'd need for you "perfect money" story.

Also, to look at the first 2 steps: Bitcoin Sats are NOT rare. They are just digitally verifable. Nothing about 2,100 trillion things is rare. No matter if digital or physical. Also, Bitcoin is NOT immutable. The code gets upgraded regularly, has been and will be.

On top of that, absolutely no one that seriously "stacks sats" today, wants others to know how much, or where or displays that. They purely do this, for the yellow button "Speculation", which should be the first step, where Bitcoin hasn't moved away from.

Absolutely nothing that is worth collecting applies to bitcoin sats. On the chart below/above, Bitcoin is not even on there, unless you put the "yellow button Speculation" as the first step - then, sure. So, if you are trying to paint a narrative of Bitcoin becoming money based on the graph below, understand, bitcoin is not even on there. It is not even on that path to be money.

As I have described several times, that doesn't make Bitcoin useless. Just, that Bitcoin has zero to do with good money. And just because some Bitcoin Laser Eyes say so (aka fiat), doesn't make it. Nothing meaningful is priced in Bitcoin sats and nothing meaningful is exchange in Bitcoin sats other than fiat... aka Speculation.

So, does this mean Bitcoin is useless aka worthless? NO! To me, Bitcoin functions well as a hedge aka digital gold if the world ever goes to shit (which I hope it doesn't) and if things get built on top of it again (sadly Omni got killed... but hopefully #Ordinals can bring a change!) I invest in Bitcoin, but not because of lies some people spread!

Hope this is useful to you! Have a great day.
