The internet gurus out there will tell you that in order to be successful, you need to have a complex business model with a never-ending list of courses and programs. But the truth is, high ticket offers create not only a more profitable business model, but also a faster path to scaling and growing a 7 figure business.
I've had the pleasure of working with coaches and consultants who were tired of the struggle and ready for a change. Some started their business with the misconception that they needed to offer a complex array of low ticket options before they could even dream of selling high ticket programs. Others, fresh out of the corporate world, were unaware of the potential they held to charge more for their services and offer programs that truly made an impact in their clients' lives.
Regardless of the situation, these coaches and consultants came to me ready to turn things around and embrace the high ticket model. They recognized that the low ticket world was a grind, and that the high ticket model was a much more aligned path to the impact and income they desired. So let's talk about why its better to embrace a high ticket model to scale a 7 figures business
You Attract Better Clients
With high-ticket programs, you'll attract clients who recognize your value and are ready to invest in the mentorship they need to achieve their goals. They want your expertise and personal touch, and they're typically more serious about their commitment.
When you offer high-ticket programs, you'll attract clients who are willing to show up and do the work to get the results they desire.
The higher price tag also means you'll attract higher-end clients who are easier to work with and more likely to take action on what you teach them. The result? You'll get better results for your clients, which will help you build a more successful and profitable business.
One of my clients was a business coach that was struggling to get her clients to take action in her $5,000 program. I helped her create a next-level program and repositioned her to go after a higher caliber market. She started selling group coaching packages for $25,000. Her clients started immediately taking action and getting big wins in her programs. Why? They had more skin in the game and they were serious about getting results.
You Make Multiple Five or Even Six Figures with Every Deal
I've seen firsthand the tremendous benefits of offering high ticket programs. With high ticket coaching and consulting, you can make five to six figures per client, making it much easier to grow a 7 figure business and scale faster. This could range from a $25,000 package to a $50,000, $150,000 package, or more.
High-ticket focuses on creating a massive transformation and clients are willing to pay a premium to solve an urgent problem.
This is how you can attach a high price tag and make a bigger impact with every deal. And with high-ticket, a few deals can mean big numbers for your bottom line. It is much faster than trying to hit those same numbers with volume based low-ticket sales.
Just like at my client Chuck, a healthcare consultant. He started his business as a side hustle making $50,000 a year. He hired me to help him turn it into a full-time gig. We put together six-figure packages and within a few months he was selling $120K to $180K packages and scaled his company to the high six figures in less than a year!
You Make a Bigger Impact
As a coach or consultant, you have the potential to make a big impact in the world. Did you know that courses have an 85% attrition rate, meaning only 15% of people who purchase them actually complete them? It's not uncommon for people to start a course but never finish it. This is where high-ticket offers come in.
With high-ticket, you can provide your clients with deep coaching, strategy, accountability, training, and support to help them reach their goals.
It's not enough to just provide information to your clients, transformation requires action. As a leader in your field, you can guide your clients on their path to success. By charging a premium, you can offer them a more personalized experience, and help them finally achieve the transformation they are seeking.
It's a Simpler Model to Scale
Finally, high-ticket is a simpler model to scale. You don't have to worry about selling large volumes of low-ticket products to hit your goals. With a few high-ticket deals, you can quickly and easily grow your business and achieve the income and impact you desire.
Unlike the low ticket model, you don't have to build a complex system with numerous courses and upsells, which can quickly become overwhelming for those who aren't digital marketing experts.
Take my client Michele for example who came to me stuck bouncing between $250,000 to $300,000 per year. She had far too much complexity in her business and was undercharging. With the right mentorship and guidance, we were able to realign her business to 4x her revenue in just one year.
