Why It's Not Possible For A Child of God To Get Sick And Die

I pick strange subjects only to get attention, which is somewhat correct. But mainly, I chose the topic because it is a statement of truth. We are so used to going along with the status quo that it is easy to accept a thing because it is the same for everyone. But the existing state of affairs concerning death and the grave is not the rule of success. Think about what I am saying; we spend a lifetime here on the planet laboring to achieve success only to come to an end and leave it all behind—talking to one man who was calculating his time after retiring to be only five years. He stated that in his family, no one lived long after sixty-five. He said he would be satisfied if he got five years to enjoy his retirement. Most successful people in their private business come to a certain age and are either sick and unable to get around well or die not long after. I witnessed one man who worked for his company for more than twenty-five years and, at sixty-five, die before seeing his retirement. If it was something we could not avoid, I could find it more acceptable, but it is not. When you tell the average person this, they can only strangely look at you.

My People

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6).

The word translated as 'rejected' means to allow through disappearance; The information needed for family line survival no one passed down to the generations of offspring. The word translated destroyed means to be dumb or silent; hence, to fail or perish. Because the information for survival died, the people passed. The term 'forgotten' means to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention. When you are clueless, you are not aware of or not concerned about what is happening around you. Because they did not keep to God's knowledge, they lost all awareness of what was happening to them and their offspring; the people were perishing when they should not. What would keep them from passing from the earth was the knowledge given to them by God. But they forgot about the knowledge of God.

Knowing The Truth 

As the children of God we should not get sick and die; it is not possible, and I will show why. Jesus said, when you know the truth, the truth will set you free. Free from what? The body of death. To know the truth is to know who we are in Christ Jesus. In his claim, Jesus said he is the way, and the truth no man comes to the Father but by him.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6).  

To know the truth is to know Father God, because God is true; and the only way to know God is to know him through Christ Jesus. Because said no ‘man’ we understand he’s speaking of no flesh; because the term man refers to flesh. It is the flesh that God formed from the dust of the ground that blocks us from the presence of Father God; it is the word that became flesh in the womb of the virgin that became the doorway into the Father’s presence. The body that God formed from the dust of the ground was dead, but the body of Christ is alive. God has given us a new and living way into the holy place. 

Having, therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (Hebrews 10:19-20).

God renewed the way for us into his presence through the flesh of his son. The flesh of Jesus is the word made flesh.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1).  

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14).

The word is God; therefore, the word is true because God is truth. Truth is not something God has, but the truth is who God is. God is our need, and to have God fulfills our need. If the word of God is the truth, then to know the word of God is to know the truth. If Jesus is the truth, then Jesus is also the word of God. If the Body of Christ Jesus is the word of God made flesh, then the body of Jesus is the truth made flesh. To know the body of Christ is to know the truth that sets us free. When Adam and Eve knew their mortal body, death became their conscious experience. Death is more than the end; death is a conscious experience full of hurt. It’s the whole conscious experience from birth to the grave. To know Christ Jesus is to see the truth that sets us free. To know Jesus Christ is to know his body, which is the new and living way into the presence of God. 

Walking in The Newness of Life 

Know ye not, that so many of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in the newness of life. (Romans 6:3-4).

To be baptized into his death is to be baptized into his physical, bodily death because Jesus died bodily. Jesus, like God, put all flesh into the one body he formed from the ground dust; God put all flesh in his word that he made in the likeness of sinful flesh. Therefore, when the son died bodily, we died bodily with him. God's son was raised from the grave bodily. When the body of Christ was raised from the grave, the truth was raised from the grave; because his body is the word of truth made to be flesh. The truth was made in the likeness of sinful flesh, and the truth died and was resurrected. When the truth was raised from the grave in bodily form, we were raised with him. Therefore, as he was raised from the grave bodily, we should walk in life's newness. To walk in the newness of life is to walk in the new and living way, which is the conscious experience of the flesh of Christ. Before Adam and Eve saw their body of death, the Spirit and the word of God was their conscious experience. When they saw death, their consciousness was defiled by what they saw and changed into the image of what they saw. Consciousness is the product of the source of knowledge that occupies the mind. The dark knowledge of mortality flooded and took over man's mind, and he became a man of darkness, a dark people. Without outside lighting, men are in complete darkness. The mind is to be renewed with the knowledge of the God of light. When the mind is restored, the body and consciousness are purged of dead acts to walk in the light of the living God. To walk in the light of the living God is to walk in the consciousness of God. 

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; (Hebrews 9:8-9).

What animal sacrifices could not do, the blood of Jesus accomplished. The life that Jesus gave in death not only covers the sin for a short time; but removes the error from our minds. The sacrifice of the son of God makes our consciousness perfect. Apart from making the consciousness pure, you cannot make it perfect; perfection is pureness. As the people of God, our consciousness is still held hostage to a defiled consciousness. It is the impure consciousness that we need to free ourselves of. We know that The mind is not renewed by the word of God as long as we see what we see now in the present experience. Now, we should be walking bodily in the newness of life.

To Die no More 

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. (Romans 6:5-9).

Christ is alive in bodily form; if so, we live in bodily form. Christ is not the last name of Jesus; Christ is the Father, the son, and us in the Spirit of God. In that Christ lives, he lives to die no more; he lives bodily to die no more. Death no longer has dominion over him. If the end no longer has control over him bodily, it no longer has power over us bodily because we are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. 

Let Not Sin Reign 

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. (Romans 6:10-12). 

To let sin not sin reign is not to allow death to reign because death reigns by sin. As sin reigns unto death, righteousness reigns by grace unto eternal life in the mortal body. We are letting sin and death reign because we have accepted the power of sin to continue until after death and the grave. Just as death is no longer to have dominion over the body of Christ Jesus, we are to estimate that death no longer has power over us. We are dead indeed to sin and alive unto God bodily through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Cannot Sin 

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:8-9).

Because the truth was made in the likeness of sinful flesh and condemned the sin in the flesh, we are free from sin in the truth. It is a statement of truth that, as the children of God, we cannot do a single act of error. It is a statement of fact that says men sin and die. God says that as his children, we cannot sin because, as the seed of God, it is not possible. Will we call God a liar, or will we let the flesh be the liar? Are we walking by the Spirit of the flesh? It is time that we stop siding with the facts against the truth. When we know the truth, the power of truth will set us free from the lie. To know the truth is to see the flesh of Christ, for it is through his flesh that God has given us access to his presence. It is through the flesh (the word of truth) that God has made our consciousness pure and perfect; we need to change to righteousness by having our minds renewed by the word of truth.  

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes, I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:17-19).

As he is not of the world, we are not of the world. The world's people are living by the facts produced by the body of death, but not so with us. We are as he says we are; therefore, as he is in the high place, so are we in this world. We are not obligated to walk after the flesh. We should not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to rescue us from evil consciousness.
