Why the lighting industry rates the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma so highly

One of my responsibilities is the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma. It is a fantastic course and a really enjoyable part of my role, because the tutors are all very clever lighting experts and the administrator (Ange Davies) is totally on the ball. This means I get to go along now and then, say hello to the very hardworking students, watch them develop into confident and knowledgeable professionals, and then watch the bookings roll in for the next module. It is such a treat.

I decided it was probably about time I told a few more people about this unique course and so asked one of our ILP Premier Corporate members to tell us what attracted them to the course:

I decided to attend the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma to enhance my knowledge of lighting design principles and requirements for all exterior applications.
Rob Waters, Technical Manager

I also heard from the boss!:

We strive to train, educate and nurture our employees throughout their employment with us, thus producing professionals within all roles within the business. The ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma is a key educational milestone achievement for both sales and technical staff and provides them with the additional knowledge required to make technical decisions, portray a professional and knowledgeable image (commensurate with the overall TRT philosophies) and also build confidence with our supply chain and customer base through extended knowledge, confidence and accuracy of information.
Ross Evans, Managing Director, TRT Lighting Ltd.

Is there still a high drop out rate for module 4? I've completed 1-3 but my work responsibilities have changed and I didn't get around to the work based module. It would be great if the institution could offer a top up course of study to cover this final part of the qualification.
