Why To Opt-Out of New Year's Resolutions
Listen closely.
You can practically hear the clock ticking as New Year's Eve approaches. 🕰️
Everyone is suddenly aware of hours, minutes, and seconds.
Look, I love a party, but making resolutions ain't for me, and here's why:
➡️You don't need a split second on December 31st at midnight to do something differently and get a better result.
It's a decision, not a resolution. 🧨
You may decide (usually in a moment of frustration or disgust) on February 20, June 9, September 14, or November 2.
Looking at our goals and habits through this new lens allows us to be decisive and bold year-round.
🤩That is empowering!
Why limit yourself to January, when most resolutions fall apart anyway?
As I have done for many years, you can DECIDE to quit waiting for the countdown, champagne, and party hats.🎉🎉
Opening up my calendar (and mind) allows me to grow professionally and personally.
Being decisive (not impulsive) every day shows us there's no time limit to goal-setting.

Too many of us stall and give away our power during the year, not realizing it's a form of procrastination that kills dreams.
You'll have plenty of momentum when you take one or two steps the second you decide that enough is enough.
It's about bold decision-making, not a split second on a clock in Times Square.
It's about making and keeping a non-negotiable vow and promise to yourself, no matter what.
😂 You decide.
😂 You make up your mind.
😂 You move forward.
So, screw the ball dropping at midnight.👀
Rip up the calendar page.👍
Appreciate the gifts of time and choices as they allow us to grow.
📢 Here's the bottom line: The most important second is not on New Year's Eve.
It's right now.
Happy New Year!
