Invest in Bitcoin now

When I stood in front of my colleagues on a Thursday morning about a year ago for a 20 minutes presentation, no one really knew much about Crypto currencies. I had the attention of my participants from the onset because my presentation was built like a story. I talked about the origination of Bitcoin, it’s historical growth record, how to own one and the investment opportunities therein.

I did not see any sign(s) of excitement or surprises on the faces of my colleagues until I brought it home. How much could you get for one Bitcoin?

At that time, 1 Bitcoin exchanged for an amount less than ₦300,000. That was huge. Seats were adjusting and sitting postures were changing to what I could read as “OK, tell me more”.

Fast-forward to now, Bitcoin has grown about 80% from that time, (less than 12 months). At the time of writing this piece, 1 Bitcoin is exchanging for ₦1,440,000 to the Naira. Going by analysts’ predictions, your 1 Bitcoin today at ₦1,440,000 could be worth as much as ₦1,950,000 before the end of 2017 growing by 35%.

Below is a graph showing the price movement in the last 12 Months, moving from a little less than $600 to about $3,800

Note of caution – Bitcoin price is volatile

To invest in bitcoin, a thorough understanding of the Crypto currency and Blockchain network is advised. While there are lots of Ponzi schemes out there in the name of Bitcoin, be sure not to give your money to a third party for a bitcoin investment. I also advise having current information always and seek advice from experts.
