✅Networking: WiFi extenders are the spawn of Satan

For the past few years there has been a scam running to sell WiFi extenders. Here is an example of a scam from a web site named SignalTech: Groundbreaking Device Exposes Greedy Internet Providers While Speeding Up Your Slow Internet.

The narrative is a common conspiracy theory theme about ISPs "throttling" your connection and this magical device solves it for you! Regardless, WiFi Extenders are the spawn of Satan and break your network instead of improving it!

These products are all the digital variation of the laundry ball. Be warned!!!

I think the words "What a load of tosh" comes to mind for this signaltech advert to sell wifi extenders. Other than just improving the Wi-Fi signal to remote part of the house and thereby the signal connectivity, these devices do nothing to stop ISPs throttling your network speed. I especially laughed at the bit about infering your ISP reconfiguring your router and this device stops this. Yes ISPs can throttle your speed .... But they do it from their routers and a WiFi extender can do nothing about it. Still this article did make me laugh.
