Wildfires and soil erosion

Pay attention to what is happening in California as a result of global warming and climate change. Soil erosion occurs after a wildfire and the rain becomes more intense leading to even more erosion and landslides. The ground is being washed away. It is not easy to prevent and it will take generations to resuscitate. Major damages are occurring and we haven't been able as yet to control or prevent these wildfires from occurring. The referenced article below from the LATimes explains how the runoff from that erosion chokes nearby lakes and streams and is a threat to water resources. What happens in California will happen in other places throughout North America. With voting coming up in various elections throughout North America, it is time to hold accountable those politicians who chose to minimize or ignore manmade global warming in the past.
