Wilson Sisters - Swimming The 10k for Level Water

Wilson Sisters - Swimming The 10k for Level Water

Over the last 2 years we have individually rediscovered the joys of swimming (as many of you will know!) and in 2018 started swimming together completing different open water challenges. This year we plan to swim several open water swimming events and the most exciting and challenging one is the Dart10K 2019. In addition to its physical challenges of swimming 10km we have the opportunity to fundraise for this amazing small charity that teaches children with disabilities not only to swim but gives them confidence and skills that they will take with them through life as we have done.

Please support this wonderful charity!

About LEVEL WATERLevel Water is committed to getting disabled children swimming and provides each child with bespoke one-to-one lessons until they are ABLE to join group swimming lessons and continue swimming forever.

Every child who learns to swim is learning a life-saving skill, but swimming also teaches skills which have an impact beyond the water. Each week, every child is set new challenges that are at the limit of their ability. They are encouraged and supported to try and try again until they succeed. This process builds confidence and self-esteem, not only about this specific task but also throughout their lives.

Level Water builds the confidence, resilience and self-esteem of disabled children who often feel excluded or who have low levels of well-being,

by providing specialist one-to-one swimming lessons, enabling them to joingroup or mainstream activities and engage in a lifetime of activity. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
