A Window of Hope

We all need a window in our crucial times to survive, whether it's your friend, personal space, time out, walk, a long drive, visit to down the memory lane or music of your choice. It can be anything, which could serve the purpose of companionship, morale booster and a life saver. YES! “A window to survive. In days of misery and despair. For me those days have been COVID affected days. Under this impact, when your heart is filled with doubts and fears that God forbid if one of your family members is also affected because of you. Dubious thoughts occupied your mind

At the same time, this window has been an ultimate support and light at the end of the tunnel. This companion in isolation aided support to overcome the feel of confinement, a message of hope to cope up with bleakness urging me to light the candles of faith. Those were the days when I had been on a verge of extreme gratitude. While fighting with covid symptoms, when washroom trip seemed like climbing a mountain with drop-dead energy. I reached to a level where thought of death does not worry you anymore, as there is no regret, no build up aggression or sense of loss that why it is ME who is affected.  All you remember is that you have been endowed with so much blessings in life. You leave everything to ALMIGHTY.

That was the first experience of my life when I was in ecstasy, while going through excruciating body pains :) this is one of the unique feelings one can ever have. Trust me, it is not a kind of giving in or giving up. You feel flying high with gratitude and not finding the right words to express the level of gratefulness. You feel lacking words of thankfulness. You gather words to say huge and millions of thanks to ALMIGHTY. But twirling thoughts keep on juggling, to speak your mind, pour your heart out but dearth of words is also a truth. I experienced this surge of fulfillment like never before.

When speaking to the ALMIGHTY loud like one-on-one conversation. But even if you cannot find the right words, HE is the one who knows you inside out...he fills you with extreme emotions of gratitude. I used to think those covid days, how one can burst with so much peace during sickness. When IVs, painkillers and steroids are not alleviating body aches. This was such an indescribable feel of euphoria which bloomed out of pain. When you do not have sense of regret, your failures are not haunting you. You don’t feel disappointments for not achieving many things in life because the serenity prevailing in your soul deep down is so powerful that it fills your heart with harmony too. My victorious heart sang in jubilation that sense of every loss just vanished away. All I remembered that my time arrived peaking contentment, satisfaction and tranquility….
