Women Consultants, Are You Working at Your Highest Level?

Women Consultants, Are You Working at Your Highest Level?

Often, the women I speak to say, ‘I’m fine with working at a medium level and building up to my highest level.’ Before you start wondering if I’m going to be writing about hustling, or getting up at 5am and doing deals before breakfast, this is NOT what this article is about!

It’s about the easiest way you can bring revenue into your consulting business to build a 7 figure business without working all the hours. And it’s a lot simpler than you might think!

There are so many people giving out terrible advice about what women have to do to get to 6 figures. I have heard it all, from ‘you should charge less’, ‘you should aim for a lower level audience than you actually want’, to ‘you have to have a business partner’, and ‘just hustle to 6 figures because no one will really take you seriously until you get to that stage’.

You can make 100K in a single client engagement. And if I see that is the case for you, I’m not going to encourage you to take on 5K contracts.

Did resistance kick in when you read that? Is the voice inside your head saying, ‘people like me don’t make this kind of money’, or ‘I can’t make a success of my business because my career to this point has been good luck’? It’s time to start talking back.

Your quickest path to 7 figures is with big, 6 figure contracts. If you can get 2x 500K contracts that’s it.

Or 4x 250K contracts.

You are not going to be doing 200x 5K contracts, because unless you can do that at scale, you will spend out all of your profit on team members to staff it.

It always makes the most sense to work at your highest level and get the business revenue up first, so that you can bring on team members to help you staff and supply the lower-level work.

My Seven Figures Club is for women who are shifting from 6 to 7 figures.

It’s not all about the money. The central issue is who we are, the impact we can have in the world, and the money shows up when we allow ourselves to show up with authenticity and without holding back. It’s when we’ve found our inner spark and power and we have become unafraid to let it shine in the world.

We talk about ‘different stuff’ in this group. My role is to help you all turn your vision into reality.

If you’re ready to work with a coach like me, head to my website and fill out the application form.

Let me know in the comments, what is your vision for your consulting business?

But it does take a lot of work in time in marketing to get that six figure client. In my experience balancing of being a wife mom business owner can be quite taxing and then you add on personal things that occur. There is a price to pay for going higher so women need to make those decisions.

Hey Jessica! Love this topic. I think many folks underestimate the impact of mindset shifts in hitting those big revenue milestones. It’s not just about tactics but believing in the possibility first. I remember a time when I thought scaling meant more hours until I realized it was about smarter systems and outsourcing non-core tasks. What's one mindset shift you've found crucial for growth?
