Women's History Month: Limitless Living
Limitless Living: What Does It Mean to You?
Every day we face challenges. All of us. There is not one soul on this earth who has not experienced a challenge at some point.
Our future can be determined by how we frame that moment of challenge and what we do with it. Do we learn and grow from the challenges we face? Do we continue to show up? Or do we get smaller and live in fear that more challenges exist ahead?
Celebrating Women's History Month
This month is Women's History Month. It's a month I can honestly say I've never celebrated before. Being a woman is part of my identity, yes, but I can't say I've honestly celebrated myself and other badass women.
That's why this edition is super important. There are a bunch of ways to engage with the Social Impact Level Up collective this month in celebration of the transformation women have created.
It's also the first Women's History Month where you'll see me celebrate myself. If you've been here a while you know I'm a recovering government worker, which means I wasn't able to have my own identity in the past. I was always a nameless faceless voice that was a very small cog in a huge machine. (forget the wheel, literally a machine)
So we come full circle two years after losing my job in local government to this moment where I'm finally here sharing openly with you all (almost) weekly about all the amazing things that our collective is doing. The thing I always kind of left out is my leadership to move all this work forward.
Yes losing your job is challenging. That's been one of the biggest challenges of my entire life. But I remind you of this fact because I just saw an article today on LinkedIn about how many women have been affected by the recent tech layoffs. The article states "Research conducted by Eightfold AI found that women in tech were 65 more likely to be laid off than men".
Living Limitless: Overcoming Challenges to Make an Impact
This Women's History Month, let's transform the idea that losing a job is the scariest thing that can happen to you to the reality that you can turn any challenge into a blessing.
That's what I did. I needed the kick in the pants to get out of the government, follow my passion AND make a bigger impact.
I'm inviting all of you LinkedIn newsletter collective members to get a little closer and join me at events all month long to celebrate the power in overcoming challenges and living limitless.
Get on my email newsletter where I'll share more about the concept of living limitless and the lessons we've learned from our Social Impact Level Up Podcast guests.
Join me for an in-person, audio, or live stream event this month to share your story of how you're living limitless and celebrate Women's History Month.
The power of the Social Impact Level Up Collective is that it's not about me. We're creating our own machine that operates in a totally different way. And every voice and every person's action matters. I simply hold space for the collective to do amazing things with all the support and love needed to change the world.
Like Ruby Garcia said in her podcast episode, "It's not even about me, it's about being in service to others. In the deepest part of my core, and in my heart, and my being, I know this is the work I'm meant to do."
What we do everyday matters. Living limitless and recovering from challenges requires some very simple things. Making the choice to keep taking inspired action as a social entrepreneur. Being accountable to yourself and for modeling the work. Make sure everything you do is connected to the deepest part of your "why". And of course, elevating through community.
I invite you to elevate with us at one of many events this month in celebration of Women's History Month. AND at the end of the month, celebrate with us live as we launch Season 2 of the Social Impact Level Up Podcast. All the details are below.

1yWhy do I get chills reading my own quote?? 😂😭 Probably because it’s been a long journey to realize my personal legend (purpose, calling or dream) as Paulo Coelho says in The Alchemist. I’m so grateful to you Wendie and your mission to make impact. You inspire me, challenge me and remind me that who we are makes a difference. Thank you for realizing your personal legend and stepping into your power and purpose!!! 🌟🌟🌟
