Happy Monday, friends,

How often do we pause to consider the words we use about ourselves and our challenges? Words shape our reality—they define how we see the world, how we process emotions, and how we navigate stress. This week, I want to share how you can turn words and music into powerful tools for resilience and self-discovery.

In my song I Am, I dive into the power of affirmations and how choosing empowering words can transform your mindset. Singing or songwriting is an incredible way to internalize positive self-talk, turning challenges into stepping stones and struggles into growth.

And if you have no idea what song I'm talking about, here it is:

Here’s a quick exercise to try: Write down three “I Am” statements that reflect who you want to become or how you want to feel. For example:

  • "I am strong."
  • "I am calm."
  • "I am ready to rise."

Put those words to a simple melody, and sing them daily. You’ll be amazed at how this simple habit rewires your thinking and uplifts your spirit.
