The words of your mouth.

The words of your mouth.

This is to all those who keep saying negative things about their home country, even though we know there are challenges, there is definitely a bad situation going on in Nigeria.

My point here is “eyes that look are common, but eyes that see are rare”. So many people have got so deep in their situations and circumstances that they can’t see anything good about their country but bad. Your country is where it is today because of what we tolerate, we need to look inwards. We have so much stinking thinking going on that it has affected our mindsets and attitudes towards ourselves and one another. As you are complaining and keep saying you can’t see any good coming out of your homeland, so many are hustling and jostling to take away what you can’t see.

Do you know what the bible says about the power of your tongue and the words of your mouth? Here are few quotes: Matthew 12:37 - For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. James 3:8 - But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

If you keep saying all these negatives things about your motherland, guess what? The good of the land won’t yield to you, please read this with the eyes of the spirit. Say what you want and eventually it will come to pass. The power of your tongue is potent, it doesn't matter how much you pray, if you keep contradicting yourself, what do you expect? Have a plan, think positive and work towards it. Believe in yourself and your country.
