WorldFood Poland and other food fairs – what sets our event apart from the competition?

Being involved in the food sector, whether as an entrepreneur or an employee, we are drawn to innovations and current trends in the food industry and the broader FMCG market. The same goes for participating in industry events and networking opportunities. With familiarity with the domestic conference and fair market, it's easy to notice that some events stand out. Therefore, it's worth exploring the details of WorldFood Poland and what distinguishes it from the competition.

Who can you meet at WFP?

Entering other fairs can sometimes feel like entering a marketplace, rather than a professional fair. As the organizers of the largest food fair, we place great emphasis on ensuring that only individuals from the industry and food technology sectors attend our event. Our exhibitors appreciate the thorough vetting of attendees, ensuring that stand discussions are conducted in a purely business atmosphere. We do not allow random individuals or those falsely claiming to be from the industry, as well as school trips or senior clubs, to enter.

A journey through the flavors of Europe and the world

From the very beginning of organizing the fair, our team has placed a strong emphasis on internationalization. Each year, nearly half of all exhibitors are companies with foreign capital. Additionally, it’s worth noting the national pavilions, which showcase several or even dozens of companies from a given country under the banner of national stands.

The last edition of the fair featured products from the following pavilions: Italy, Spain, Turkey, Tunisia, Cyprus, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The Italian pavilion, under the name Bellavita, besides offering a range of traditional cuisine and unique snacks, provides visitors with wine tastings and exciting culinary shows featuring top Italian chefs.

What exactly is matchmaking?

Are you running a food business or responsible for exploring new growth opportunities in your company?

It's good that you are here, as this is a special platform for making connections with retail networks. The service allows for pre-scheduled meetings with key buyers present at the fair, and most importantly for WorldFood Poland exhibitors, this service is free of charge.

So far, buyers from networks such as: Auchan, Avita, Carrefour Polska, Biedronka, Makro Cash & Carry, Organic Farma Zdrowia, Topaz, WSS Społem, SPS Handel, Kuchnie Świata, Empik, Eurocash, E.Leclerc, Ikea Food, Lagardère Travel Retail, Lidl, Mila, Żabka, TOP Market, Rossmann, have participated in these business meetings.

Content, content and more content

We are unique among trade fair organizers in that we also focus on substantive activities. Given our many years of experience in the food and FMCG industries, and our constant monitoring of market changes, we strive to share our knowledge through the preparation of industry reports. So far, we have published: "Review of the Plant-Based Dairy Alternatives Market in Poland" and "Review of the Plant-Based Meat Alternatives Market in Poland," with more reports in preparation.

Each edition of the fair is accompanied by a rich program featuring industry experts, as well as representatives from institutions, media, and food and FMCG entrepreneurs.

One event, three unique experiences

Another distinguishing feature of WorldFood Poland is the opportunity to participate in accompanying events, which are unique in Poland, namely NutraFood Poland and ColdChain Poland . The strategic combination of the food world with the dietary supplements and functional food industry, along with solutions in the field of the cold supply chain, provides access to a unique spectrum of solutions for the food industry, where decision-makers from companies producing, distributing, or importing fresh products or pharmaceuticals gather in one place and time.

Virtual Expo 2021

While others were at a standstill during the pandemic, we revolutionized the event world and organized Poland's only online food fair, which turned out to be a hit. The specially prepared platform allowed for online meetings between exhibitors and individuals connected with the industry, wholesale and retail trade, and the HoReCa sector through selected individual or group discussions. Exhibitors could design their virtual stands and present their products.

And that's not all

Whether or not you are familiar with WorldFood Poland, the above information highlights our advantages over the competition, but there are other elements that make this event a gem among others.

An overview of innovations, technologies, and trends, top-notch organization, collaboration with all industry institutions and media, a professional and fully dedicated team make our fair an excellent venue for business communication and integration of the entire food industry.
