Wrapping Up 2024: Thank You to Our Partners and Looking Ahead to 2025

As 2024 draws to a close, we want to sincerely thank our customers and partners for their support throughout another successful year. 🙏✨

One of this year’s highlights was the launch of the IE-Guardflex DHMS, an innovative hazard monitoring system using Ethernet technology to enhance safety, efficiency, and real-time connectivity in bulk handling operations. 🚀 We also celebrated successes at key global exhibitions 🌍 and continued to strengthen our partnerships around the world. 🤝

Thank you for your trust and collaboration—here’s to even greater achievements in 2025! 🎉

4B Highlights 2024

🛠️ Are you taking care of your belt monitoring technology?

The 4B Touchswitch™ and Brass Rub Block watch your belts and pulleys when you can’t. Regular maintenance helps keep your equipment operating smoothly.

Brass rub blocks detect friction heat caused by misaligned belts rubbing against the brass. A sensor in the block monitors temperature, triggering alarms and shutdowns when it reaches a trip point.

The Touchswitch contains built-in solid-state electronic circuitry that detects the belt’s or pulley’s lateral force and activates a voltage-free relay contact to trigger an alarm and shutdown.

🔑Here are 4 best practices for keeping your Touchswitch and Rub Blocks on point:

  1. Check your Touchswitch and Rub Blocks regularly for wear.
  2. When installing alignment sensors, ensure they align with both the belt and the pulley so both a belt and/or a pulley misalignment can be detected. (Be careful at the tail, where the pulley may move during adjustments.)
  3. If your Touchswitch is getting stuck engaged, take it out of the casing and test it.
  4. If the issue continues, remount the sensor, and realign with the centre of the hole to ensure that it does not bind against the casing.

Keep your equipment safe and efficient! 🔧✨
