To Write or Not to Write

We have one more quarter in the year. If we need to do something for next year we should start now. No magic happens on Dec 31st. I wanted to restart writing this newsletter next year and the best way would be to start now. I don't have a structure in mind. But..

A lack of structure should not stop us from the action

Last week I started with this concept of Sunday Notes and published a small write up. They were reflections from the past week. It touched on what I learned and ideas and thoughts that came to mind.

For the past few weeks I have been recording these thoughts daily for the Penpositive Outclass Podcast. I sit in my car in the parking garage once I leave office. An instant reflection of the day in less than 10 minutes.

I have ound an agile way to Podcast and it is working

The quality is not great, but it can improve it iteratively. You can start listening to the podcast (Penpositive Outclass) on all Major Podcasting Platforms. Here is one of the episodes from last week. Subscribe if you like what you hear.

This writing exercise is a weekly collation of some of these daily thoughts. Usually people write the content and create the podcast.

Sometimes we need to put a process on its head for it to make sense to us

Why don’t we do what we plan to do?

I found out that I did not do a podcast even though I planned to do daily. One reason is I did not stand to lose anything if I did not go as per the plan. I could afford to skip an episode. But that reminded that there are so many other things I might be skipping that has consequences which I am not even aware of. The solution might be to be aware of he consequences of not following a plan. Even then I might decide to override a plan when I prioritize my day. But it will be conscious and not an accident

Never Worry Alone

We live in a world where people become lonely more often than before. When we have a worry in our mind, this is one time we should decide to not worry alone. We feel good when we have someone to whom we can share our worry. Sharing our worry with others DOES NOT make us weak. It is just making us self aware and using the power of trust in the goodness of another human being. We should all reach out someone.

Time to enjoy what you have

What is the point in having anything if we don’t have the time to enjoy it. Why do we own things. To prove something or to be happy or because we can. What do you think?

Life Goes on

Lot of things happen in this world. And yet it continues. Things happen in our life and yet it goes on. Even if we are stuck in our life, life for others move. But we can share and help each other and maybe even move together

Push Ourselves to Prove Ourselves Wrong

We have views of ourselves. I am talking about the limits we set for ourselves knowingly and unknowingly. It is important to push us out of some of these comfort zone, just to prove ourselves wrong

My Over Excitement Problem

I realized I have an over excitement problem that makes me stretch too thin. I also realized that this over excitement takes my focus out of what is important and lose time. I don't have a solution yet to confront it. It was just the realization this time. I will now have to observe and learn more on what impact this has had on my life.

And finally here is the latest Scrum Positive Video. We are still on the Agile Principles and this week it is the 10th Agile Principle. If you are interested to learn about Scrum or be part of that community, do subscribe to the channel.

A quote by Robert Frost for you to move forward during the week

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on....

And that is a motivation to start ❤️🔥 As you rightly said we have to start, I always had a dream to start a 100 day startup event. I was having the fear, what if that doesn’t happen But when I started I see things falling in place. Now dreaming of you being a speaker one day for the event ☀️
