WSP believes that building a great team also helps to build great working relationships and communication and helps to motivate and engage staff.
With WSP employees currently working all over the UK the Bi-Annual team Days are one of the few times that the entire company comes together.
WSP Engineering Director, Rich Wadlow-Smith, said “The team days that we do give everyone the opportunity to socialise with their colleagues and build relationships outside of the normal work environment. I really enjoy seeing everyone together having a bit of fun and relaxing away from the day job.”
This year's festive WSP Team Day activity was a round of Adventure Golf which saw 6 teams in fierce competition to get the best score. Each team was arranged to include players of all abilities and comprised a mix of all WSP employees from new starters to managers and support staff. This ensured that everyone got the opportunity to meet and play with new or unfamiliar colleagues.
The day was finished with a festive dinner which allowed everyone to further socialise with colleagues in an informal and relaxed environment.
