Are you happy?

Are you happy?

Happiness isn’t a consequence of living a successful life; success is a consequence of living a happy life.
Shaa Wasmund

Isn’t this quote so beautiful? A lot of studies are being conducted to find out what makes people happy. The truth is, we are all so unique that each one has his own definition of happiness. I used to feel happy when I used to meditate., jog. excel in my work. Now things have changed. I feel happy any moment of time, because I feel grateful for everything in life. The moment you are grateful for whatever you have received, how can you not be happy.

Still, some people postpone their happiness in the pursuit of success. Only when I will achieve this particular thing, I will be happy. The moment they receive or reach there, they find a new success goal/ a new target and the cycle continues.

As per the Grant study, which followed hundreds of male undergraduate students for over seventy-five years., was interested in factors that motivated and contributed to "Human Flourishing" and discovered that there is a strong correlation between the warmth of relationships and your health and happiness.

Dr. Dan Seiegel created the "Healthy Mind Platter" to illustrate that there are a number of areas we need to encourage if we are to look after our mind and our wellbeing. These areas are. Are

  • Sleep
  • Physical Activity
  • Focus
  • Time For Relationship
  • Relaxation.
  • Play
  • Concentration.

If we nurture each of these areas a little every day, our life will be simpler, and we will be able to achieve far more. The recipe and requirements may be different for each but if we are able to mix well all the ingredients in life, we will be able to create a happy world workspace around.

As Shaa rightly says in her book, "It’s the people who make themselves happy by prioritizing the task they enjoy and the people, they love who are often most successful." If you sacrifice or differ your happiness in the quest for success, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice. So go ahead and celebrate the perfect blend of work and life.

Make sure you love what you do and do what you love. Happiness will never leave you, and success will never elude you.

Do share. What do you love to do every day? Off your life. What would you do if someone woke you up in the middle of the night? What makes you happy? When was the last time you were happy? And what was that feeling like?

Can we talk about automotive in India?

I like this article. Specifically the effort put out to learn to remind ourselves how to be happy 24 hrs. But for me it is the fact, the science that only Yogis and rishis know about the question who am I. They say once you know who you are then you are in constant joy and not just pleasure that outside objects give. In fact you and that consciousness become ONE. There is no seeker l. There is this inner voice that asks me to do meditation every day while i am walking or driving or sleeping, to constantly remind myself that i am not this body. Body is mine. But i am not this. So to find out who the hell am I will give me the happiness.
