Positioned To WIN!

How would you respond if....?

The attached proposed contract is for the DOA (Department of Aviation) for the state of Georgia. If this falls under your NAICS code would you be ready to respond as viable vendor? How would this change how you do business within your company with this award amount?

Without going into the weeds of this proposal, it seems that anyone can bid no matter the amount of certifications provided but your company has to be a vendor. Now having the minority certifications do put you in a great position when your information is being reviewed because a lot of agencies have to report that they are doing business with minority owned organizations.

Having certifications is just one thing that helps you standout. I want you to answer the questions below to see if you are really ready:

  • Do I have a brand that stands out?
  • Do my company look like a professional entity?
  • What does your social media persona look like?
  • Have you updated or created your capability statement?
  • Do your resume view you as a leader?

You have to be able to actively and properly market to departments with a strong stance. Are you positioned to win or are you winging it?

How do you register?
