Are you in the right role, initiative or using the right tools in driving sustainable supply chains?

Are you in the right role, initiative or using the right tools in driving sustainable supply chains?

This year, you've been telling me that we’re still making it too difficult for ourselves to make progress.

Not being in the right role or team. Too many initiatives and platforms. Too much duplication of effort and talk without action.

Sustainable business is exploding in importance, urgency, and relevancy. At long last. Collaboration is also more essential than ever. Supply chains hold the key to unlocking change in business at scale.

Please take 5 minutes to share your thoughts and experiences here and if you think you are in the right role, initiative or using the right tools.

As I close my second year as the founder of Galvanised and reflect on my roles - including the steering group of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge and as founder of the Scope 3 Peer Group – I want to understand what you think of the current landscape of both sustainable supply chain initiatives and platforms; and your current role. What is working and what isn’t?

I’m sure you’d also like to see things more clearly, so you and your organisations can move faster and with more confidence.

I’ll treat all information with the utmost respect and will ensure you get an overview of the results of your peers too. I’ll be using the insight to continue to help guide and focus the initiatives I support and lead for you.

If you would like to chat directly about the questions and/or the insight that it creates – I’d be very happy to arrange some time in the new year.

I’m also excited to be launching a new and simple match-making service in 2022 to help many of those I speak to regularly and know well. It intends to either help attract the right talent to your growing teams or find the right place for you to continue your own journey.

You can acknowledge your interest in the survey link as well.

Finally, I hope you get a chance to have a well-earned break when the holiday season finally gets here. I feel like we’ve both earned it this year and will need it for the job we’ll be doing in the next…

Thanks for all your support in this survey; this year; and beyond.

Here’s my two pennies: Focus gets distracted by trying to solve a too bigger problem. Start with the small things and do it ultra simple. No need for massive systems and data platforms. Adopt quick wins.
