You should change your toothbrush every three months.

You should change your toothbrush every three months because after three months of normal wear and tear your toothbrush is much less effective at removing plaque from your teeth and gums compared to a brand new one. You should also change your toothbrush after you've had a cold or flu because the germs can hide in your toothbrush bristles and lead to another reinfection.
