Your Daily Bread for September 15-21, 2024, by Rev Apelu Poe, Ph.D.
Welcome to Your Daily Bread for September 15-21, 2024, by Rev. Apelu Poe, Ph.D!
Key Torah Code for this Third Week of the Creation Season: Last Week, we deciphered the “Noach” code (Noah): Genesis 6:9-11:32. This week, we will delve into the “Lech Lecha” (Go, you shall go) code: Genesis 12:1-17-27 to see the answer to our million-dollar question: What’s in it for me? (WIIFM).
Basic Principle of Our Judaic-Christian Faith:
Only when you are prepared to leave behind the effect of your environment or the impact of the sociological setting that you were born in, as well as the effect of your father’s house in terms of your personal experience of your father’s teaching and how you reason things will you be able to discover who you are and whose you really are.
“For more than 3000 years, ever since there’s been a Bible, people have believed there was something hidden in it, great secrets that were known only to the high priests, new revelations that could be found using some esoteric formula, some form of magic, some new science.” Bible Code II: The Countdown I’ll get to the point in a minute.
But, first, let me say Talofa, Welcome, and Shabbat Shalom to you, my friends in the name of “Yeshua HaMashiach” Jesus the Messiah! And through the power of God’s Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). It’s Rev. Apelu Poe here, a Torah-Bible Code developer and a, 3-Times #1 International Best-selling author from Samoa who is now residing permanently in LaVergne, Tennessee, USA. As they say in our mother tongue, Malo le soifua manuia! Faafetai fo’i le fai tatalo! Congratulations on your good health! Thanks also for the prayers. May our God always grant us his lovingkindness!
Getting back to the point. If you have followed God’s calendar, which dictates and foretells the events of our lives to which the above quote refers, you will know that from September 15 to September 21, we will enter the third week of the Creation Season. What is the Creation season?
Well, just as the word itself suggests, the Creation season is the beginning of God’s calendar, with World Communion (October 6) as its festival. This is an essential time of the year in which we are called to acknowledge the sovereignty of God over all his creation.
For this reason, we gladly join with fellow Jews and Christians everywhere to affirm both the freedom of our particular customs and the spiritual kinship that we feel with all who believe in God. Thus, the Creation season, which culminates in a celebration of our oneness in God on World Communion Sunday, fittingly marks the beginning of the entire 2024-2025 Biblical year.
Listen, again, to these Biblical witnesses that provide a solid Biblical basis on which one could reflect on this critically important season of God’s calendar: Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature,” (Genesis 2:7). ‘Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.’ (Jeremiah 32:17). For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well” (Psalm 139:13-14). “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created,” (Revelation 4:11).
Before we take a look at the Torah portion for this third week of the Creation Season, let me also say “thank you” to all of you, my regular readers. You’re a fantastic community of believers made up of Jews, Christians, Muslims, as well as people of other faiths.
You are amazing because you take the time to access my Torah-Bible Codes teaching on Facebook and LinkedIn which has now become a top-performing weekly post on social media. And I know that in times of global disability and geo-political, socio-economic and religious chaos, our global religious community needs direction, purpose, and hope. That’s why I’m very proud of you for supporting me, and even more excited about the possibility of your partnering with me in building a flagship global organization called “The Master’s Mind International” that offers exactly that sort of inspiration and guidance to reach the lost souls.
Indeed, it is a great inspiration for me to see that so many of you around the world have been following my teaching on social media from week to week. I call my Torah gift for you this third week of the Creation season “Your Daily Bread for September 15-21, 2024.”
Why am I saying this? Well, for those of you who have been following my teaching, I’m saying this because, as you might have noticed, I have been using this same gift that God has given me for the past 40 years to help guide the destiny of those whose spiritual welfare God has entrusted to me. And now that I have retired from the ordained ministry in July 2021, I want you to have free access to it.
My pastoral desire is simply this: For you to be the person God has created you to be. My prayer, then, is that you would be able to live according to God’s time so that you may discern God’s Divine path for your life and how it is that God wants you to live to best receive his blessing and shine his holy light.
Your Benefits from My Torah Gift I Can Give You This Week:
So what exactly can you expect from the Torah gift I’m giving you this third week of the Creation season? Well, the first and foremost is self-consciousness.
Why self-consciousness at such a time of unprecedented circumstances for all of us? Because, as we’ve been saying all this time, life transformation will never happen without self-consciousness.
Think of it this way. The universe in its grand design is remarkably simple with only 5 or 6 premises, each premise deals with the energy contents and their curvature in God’s 5-dimensional: spirit-time-space continuum.
Try to imagine being taken back into the pre-creation stage, the so-called pristine (plank) era when nothing ever existed. Only the Divine, Supernal Luminance existed in a One-Soul universe, which Quantum scientists now refer to as a “Formless Substance.” Then picture this scenario. Picture this Infinite Being all of a sudden spoke, saying, “Ye’or Ve-ye’or” (Let there be light, and there was light.”
What do you think came out of this Infinite Being’s mouth? First, fire, of course, fire or electrical-charged particles. Second, air, of course, hydrogen, helium, lithium, carbon, oxygen, etc. Three, water, or liquid particles, and Finally, plasma, a high-temperature ionized gas that some scientists now call “the fourth state of matter.”
Yet, science still has not been able to define the origin of these forces that provide the basic ingredients of life. Why? Because the zero-point energy (God) is generally ignored. Moreover, we still do not have a unified way of explaining the mysteries surrounding the origin of God’s universe.
The result of such failure to take us back to the pre-creation stage and identify precisely how we went from nothing to something is not minor.
This is most particularly true concerning its effect on our modern society and our environment which was built on fossil energy, petroleum, and natural gas. Never before have we faced such resource scarcity, serious health issues, high levels of poverty, and war.
The dilemma our scientific community has faced is this: When something is not there, science cannot account for it because science operates from the principle of cause and effect. On the other hand, we have to acknowledge that our God is above space and time, and whose will is beyond and outside of all human and mental processes where the laws of science and nature do not apply.
The Hebrew word that is used to describe this aspect of God’s mysterious presence is “Belimah.” “Beli means “without,” and “Mah” means “what” or “anything.” The Hebrew word carries the connotation of:
1. Being closed, meaning we can’t look inside it,
2. Abstract, meaning it’s not something tangible that we can put our hands-on,
3. Absolute, meaning that all is contained in it, nothing is lacking,
4. Ineffable, meaning, it just simply can’t be described.
What, then, do we need? We need a new paradigmatic shift in the way that we interpret the data. Instead of working from the principle of something to something that scientists use, let’s try working from the principle of nothing to something that Hebrew Bible scholars and Biblical theologians choose.
That is why it all comes down to the flow of information from the universe (God), the dynamic of your brain's plank field, and the feedforward and feedback process that is involved in it.
The physics behind all this should be fairly straightforward. You’re receiving the information from the universe (God), and you are feeding that information forward into your brain’s plank field through a process scientists call quantum oscillation of all your protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Remember, everything that you see in God’s universe (metaphysics), from people to planets, from planets to stars, from stars to galaxies…etc. etc. is composed of matter. Matter may be defined as any substance that has mass and occupies space. At their quantum or sub-atomic level are these 3 sub-atomic particles: protons (positive electrically charged particles, electrons (negative electrically charged particles, and neutrons which help stabilize the flow of these metaphysical entities in space and time.
The same thing is true with us, human beings. We are each composed of matter which consists of numerous cells. Each one of these cells at its quantum or sub-atomic level is made up of hundreds of protons, neutrons, and electrons. So you are receiving the information from the universe (God), and you forward it into your brain’s plank field through this process called quantum oscillation of all your protons, neutrons, and electrons. Your brain plank field will interpret it and will feed it back to you in such a way that will enable you to say, Aha, I now see it with my naked eyes. Now I know. That’s what self-discovery simply is.
Here’s the point. Until we are made aware of who we are: men-God, or women-God, (read Genesis 4), and what we need to do to help make this world a better place for all of us, we will never be able to get out of this geo-political, socio-economic turmoil that we now find ourselves in, no matter where we are in the world today.
So the Torah gift I’m giving you this third week of the Creation season will help you and me become aware that if Jesus did not allow His side to be pierced by that sword on the cross, there would never be any Temple, Church, or Synagogue. That simply means, there would never be any Judaic-Christian faith or any hope for us beyond the grave.
Perhaps it is this life-empowering conviction that gave ABC News moderator on Wednesday, September 11, the courage and the boldness of the heart to endure racist, sexist abuse on social media for fact-checking former U.S. President Donald Trump in his recent debate with Kamala Harris.
ABC News anchor Linsey Davis was subjected to vile racist and sexist abuse online after she fact-checked former president Donald Trump while moderating Tuesday night’s debate.
In what marked the very first time the former president and Vice President Kamala Harris had ever found themselves in the same room, the two presidential candidates went head-to-head on the debate stage in Philadelphia.
Throughout the almost two-hour-long event, Trump repeated a string of wild, debunked claims ranging from abortion to a bizarre falsehood that migrants are eating pet dogs and cats in Ohio.
At one point, Davis corrected the former president when he falsely stated that some states allow for the “execution” of babies after they are born.
“There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born,” Davis told Trump.
On X, internet trolls and Trump supporters lashed out at Davis.
While conservatives on the platform accused both Davis and her co-moderator David Muir of being biased and favouring Harris throughout the debate, Davis was specifically targeted with racist and sexist posts.
One X user called Davis an “idiot DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] moderator,” an acronym that conservatives have used to make racist attacks on people and undermine their position.
Another user on the platform told ABC News to “puta muzzle on your chick moderator,” a sexist remark referencing Davis.
Why am I sharing this with you on this third week of the Creation Season? Because it highlights the importance of self-consciousness.
Until we’re made aware that in each one of us, there are 2 impulses: the good impulse and the bad impulse. If we let the good impulse dominate our bad impulse, we become a good person. On the other hand, if we let the bad impulses dominate our good impulses, we become a bad person.
It is no wonder why the apostle Paul challenged Timothy and us, saying, “Take heed unto yourself, and the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself and those that hear you” (1 Timothy 4:16).
The second benefit that my Torah gift will give you this third week of the Creation season is a willingness to lend a hand in a time of need.
Why is this important for us Jews, Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths at such a morally and spiritually challenging time as this? Because whether it's offering to run errands, providing childcare, assisting with household chores, or simply being there as a listening ear, a willingness to lend a hand to someone in need of help embodies the true spirit of community and togetherness.
Here’s the thing: In today's fast-paced world, while technology has made it easier to send money or share a message, the essence of genuine, hands-on support can sometimes get lost. In other words, while monetary contributions are invaluable, there are moments in life where practical, tangible assistance can make a world of difference.
This is true most particularly in moments of crisis or grief, where a personal touch can be immensely comforting.
Knowing that someone is willing to take time out of their day to assist practically can be a beacon of hope.
Perhaps, it is for this reason that on Wednesday, September 11, the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken pledged $700 million in aid to Ukraine.
Blinken announced over $700 million in humanitarian aid for Ukraine on Wednesday while visiting Kyiv.
The State Department said the assistance will “continue to support Ukraine and its people against Russia’s war of aggression,” according to a press release.
The aid package includes $325 million to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, approximately $290 million in humanitarian assistance and over $103 million to “address landmines and unexploded ordnance left behind by Russia’s forces,” according to the release.
On Wednesday, Blinken met with both U.K. Foreign Minister David Lammy, Blinken and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to a readout from State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller.
Secretary Blinken reiterated the United States’ enduring support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s war of aggression. The three reviewed upcoming diplomatic engagements, including at the UN General Assembly in New York, and discussed the importance of nations across the world supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and the principles of the UN Charter.
Blinken’s aid announcement follows a Monday letter in which top House Republicans pushed President Biden to go back on a policy restricting Ukraine from using American-made weapons to strike far into Russia.

Why am I sharing this with you on this third week of the Creation Season? Because it emphasizes the importance of a willingness to lend a hand in a time of need.
It is no wonder why King Solomon reminded us, saying, “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act” (Proverbs 3:27).
The third benefit that my Torah gift will give you this third week of the Creation season is a deeper sense of responsibility. It’ll help you not only to take full responsibility for your life but also others’ lives especially those who are being discriminated against or being denied human rights. More specifically, it’ll help you to be held accountable for your actions, thoughts, and emotions as well as your environment and community.
Why is this important for us Jews, Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths at such a turbulent time as this? Because in today’s world, people want to be leaders because of the privilege associated with it, but they do not want to be held accountable especially when things do not go well.
Here are some ways a deeper sense of responsibility can manifest:
• Acknowledging consequences
A deeper sense of responsibility means acknowledging that one's choices have consequences and holding oneself accountable for them.
• Taking responsibility for everything
A deeper sense of responsibility can mean taking responsibility for one's thoughts, feelings, words, actions, circumstances, and impacts.
• Developing resilience
Taking responsibility can create long-term resilience and a sense of purpose.
• Prioritizing self
A deeper sense of responsibility can mean prioritizing one's needs above all else.
A most recent example that illustrates what could happen when we have failed to uphold our sense of accountability and responsibility was brought to our attention on Thursday, September 12, when a girl 14- years old was forced off a Porter Airlines flight.
The parents of a 14-year-old girl said they were outraged after their daughter was removed from a Porter Airlines flight last month and left to fend for herself for the next 24 hours without compensation or supervision from airline staff.
Camryn Larkan was flying alone for only the second time on Aug. 30, headed home to Victoria, B.C., after visiting a friend and family in Toronto.
Miss Larkan boarded the plane and was sitting in her seat ready for take-off, when a flight attendant told her there was a problem. She needed to grab her bags and get off the aircraft.
"I was kind of just like really confused. I thought I was coming back to my seat. I thought that they were just going to take my bags," Camryn said. "As soon as I got off the plane and I saw that the door had closed, that's when I started to like get really anxious."
Camryn said she later learned the plane took off without her and some other passengers due to a weight imbalance. She was rebooked on a flight to Victoria at the same time the next day, and the airline sent her on her way. Her dad, who had brought her to the airport, rushed back to pick her up.
"I'm just glad that my dad was there because if he wasn't I would have been alone," Camryn said.
Camryn's parents say they're angry that a minor travelling alone was forced to deplane with little information or support from the airline.
Why am I sharing this with you on this third week of the Creation Season? Because it emphasizes the need for us to be aware that our failure to be held accountable for our actions can cost someone’s life and safety.
It is no wonder why David exclaimed with a loud voice, saying, "Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice” (Psalm 112:1-10).
The fourth benefit that my Torah gift will give you this third week of the Creation season is a profound sense of gratitude and heartfelt appreciation. It’ll help you develop a profound sense of gratitude and heartfelt appreciation knowing that when we were destined to die an eternal death because of our sins, our God offered to pay the redemption price.
How? Through the precious blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. And, why is this important for us Jews, Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths at such a difficult time as this? Because the life that we’ve enjoyed on this earth is God’s gift to us.
Think of it this way. We were once Spirit-man and Spirit-woman. We were consciousness souls, all existing in a One-Soul world that is above and beyond the space-time continuum.
God, then, appointed our souls to descend to this lowest world to help transform this chaotic world into a peaceful and harmonious world in which God may dwell in our midst. God saw values in us. Because God created us in His image for higher accomplishments. God engineered or fashioned us for success, and endowed us with the seed for greatness. Because we were meant to be the microcosm of God’s universe with each part of our bodies paralleling something about the creative forces that used to create the universe in 6 days.
Listen, again, to God’s words, “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew you. And before you were born, I consecrated you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5). “Now, build for me a home, a sanctuary so that I may dwell in your midst” (Exodus 25:8).
How great is our God? David is right when he says, “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth, is yours. Yours is the Kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all…But who am I? And what are my people that we should be able to offer you as such?” (1 Chronicles 29:11-14).
Perhaps, it is for this reason that Jon Bon Jovi helped save a woman from Nashville Bridge. Its namesake did the same nearly 70 years ago.
Jon Bon Jovi helped save a woman, but the history of life-saving acts on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge dates back 70 years when John Seigenthaler did the same.
In a video posted by Metro Nashville Police, a woman working on the set of a music video for Bon Jovi noticed the woman on the other side of the railing Tuesday night. She and the rock star both gently approached the woman ultimately helping her back over before sharing a hug.
While there have been far more moments of joy along the bridge, it is hard to ignore Bon Jovi's lifesaving act nearly 70 years to the day since Seigenthaler saved a man.
Finished in 1909 the bridge is made from 48 spans including four steel trusses and two reinforced concrete trusses, according to the Nashville Downtown Partnership. In 1998, the bridge was closed to automobile traffic and restored for pedestrian use.
On October 4, 1954, Seigenthaler, long before his storied career at The Tennessean, was a young reporter working the city news desk. A heartbroken man called the newspaper before noon explaining his intentions that day and asked to speak to a reporter. While one reporter called the police, Seigenthaler went to the bridge.
While straddling the railing, Seigenthaler spoke with the man who sat upon a gas pipe that ran alongside the bridge. They remained like that for what Seigenthaler thought was 40 minutes.
The man stood up, looked to the water and suddenly Seigenthaler grabbed for him. A dozen or more officers then grasped for Seigenthaler pulling both men back to safety.
For that life-saving act, and dedicated service to the people of Nashville, the city renamed the bridge the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in April 2014.
Why am I sharing this with you on this third week of the Creation season? Because it highlights once again the importance of expressing a profound sense of gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for the good work that someone has done for us.
It is no wonder why David exclaimed with a loud voice, saying, “I will praise you, Lord, my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever” (Psalm 86:12).
The Historical Proof that Supports our Need for Your Daily Bread that Sustains Us Spiritually:
Does it surprise you, then, that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, did not forget to remind us about these things? That is why last week you heard Jesus speaking to us, saying, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you that everything that is written about me in the Law of Moses [Torah] and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled…” (Luke 24:44).
Jesus, then, did something which I thought was quite remarkable and quite extraordinary. He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. Jesus said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.
And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised; so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high” (Luke 24:45-49).
Overview Summary of this Week’s Torah Portion:
With this in mind, let us look at this week’s Torah portion, Genesis 12:1-17:27 to see the answer to our million-dollar question: What’s in it for me? (WIIFM). In the Hebrew language (God’s sacred tongue) from which our English Bible translation was taken, this week’s Torah portion is called, “Lech Lecha,” translated as “Go, you shall go,” see Genesis 12:1.
To understand this, one has to, first of all, identify the double references in the text. On a simple linguistic level which is intended primarily for the Jewish audience, the reading focuses on the Torah code “Go, you shall go.” Thus, in the opening part of the reading, we hear God commanding Abram, “Go from your land, your birthplace, and your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.” There he will be made into a great nation.
In the central part of the reading, Abram and his wife Sarai, accompanied by his nephew, Lot, journey to the land of Canaan, where Abram builds an altar and continues to spread the message of one God. God, then, bequeaths the land of Canaan to Abram’s descendants. Childless, Abram marries Hagar and she gives birth to Ishmael. God changes Abram’s name to Abraham and Sarai becomes Sarah.
The reading ends with God promising Abraham and Sarah that a son will be born to them whom they should call Isaac.
Indeed, on a profound theological level, this week’s Torah portion has an important message to us, the Church, and the Body of Christ.
This message is evident when the reading is interpreted in the context of this third week of the Creation season, That is, God is calling us to be Abraham and Sarah of today through whom all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
How do we know that? Listen, again, to our text for this week: Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country, your kindred, your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great so that you will be a blessing,” (Gen. 12:1-3).
How, then, will we be able to fulfill this Divine call of God in a time when the world is in moral and spiritual crisis? By putting our complete trust in God’s hand. God, himself, said, “Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand,” (Isa 41:10).
It is no wonder why David urged us, saying, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:3-4).
Perhaps, it is for this reason that Jesus said, “Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Your heavenly father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well,” (Matthew 6:25-33).
