Your Delegates Want More (and so they should!)

Over the years our events continue to improve. The event experience continues to get better. And still our delegates want more – and that is how it should be.

Can you imagine driving around in a car being satisfied with AM radio? Of course not, over the years we got used to FM, Tape Deck, USB, and now the full bluetooth, GPS, Voice Activated systems we get. The same goes for events.

Granted COVID has made it different (for some harder, for some better) so how do we provide extra value without incurring extra costs? Here are some ideas:

• Free recording of online sessions – they are online so very easy to record. Most speakers will be happy to assist.
• Transcript of online sessions – auto generated transcripts can be automatically done with many online sessions
• Small Scale QandA session – Why not have a selected group of delegates (who could pay a premium or be sponsors) join key speakers in a private room for a Q&A or meet the speaker session
• Follow-up Action Plan – most delegates attend with great intentions but get side-tracked once at work. How about a 6 week EDM with inspirational and action based messages from key speakers that reflect back on their presentations or even excerpts from their presentation.
• More Interaction – Delegates now want events done WITH them and not TO them. Make sure they are involved in the event but doing more than just sitting and listening. At the very least have a GREAT Event Host (naturally I suggest you give me a call but I am biased!)
