Your Energy Is Your Greatest Currency

Your Energy Is Your Greatest Currency

Energy is a real thing.

Do you believe me?

Have you ever experienced a gathering where a person has transformed the atmosphere around you? Even a stranger in line behind us at the grocery store can change our frame of mind because of the energy. Each and every one of us radiates some energy that affects others’ lives.

The change they bring could be good or bad, but everyone in the space can feel it. If you experience it and can feel the exchange of energies, you're more self-aware than you think.

The phrase "your energy introduces you before you speak" got me thinking about the energy we give off when we walk into a room; that energy can be optimistic, cheerful, and elevating, or it can be critical and disheartening.

I always tell people to enter situations with the mindset of a winner. You have the potential to change the entire landscape simply by being present. The kind of energy you bring into a room reveals a lot about the person you are and want to be.

Nobody desires to be around people who exude negative energy. As a result, having a lot of energy around you encourages positive participation. How did you feel when you were around people who didn't match your energy? I remember having friends in the past who never matched my energy and fantasies, and it almost impeded my approach to doing things.

We as a community have always believed that first impressions are important; how you look, respond to people, and dress says a lot about the type of person you are. You can gain respect or disrespect simply by holding yourself in a specific manner. And this is the essence of energy. The image you present before saying anything.

What kind of energy do you feel around you?

Exactly what sort of energy do you radiate when people meet you? Is it nonjudgmental or welcoming? What do you want people to think of you when you meet them? It all makes a difference and can be felt in how you turn up, smile, and stand. It is yours to beat the energy you bring into space or life.

Remember that as you enter each space, your optimism, joy, sadness, anxieties, positivity, vitality, and fatigue will make their appearance. Do not allow your energy to zap others.

When available, introduce yourself in a manner that entices and inspires others. Be genuine with yourself about your energy levels and what you need to keep going. Allow your energy to be the catalyst that moves others to action, whether or not you say anything.

Do what energizes you

If you're not sure what energizes you, keep a diary of your daily activities for a week. Examine your daily activities to see what makes you feel drained, neutral, or energetic. Make a habit of writing down everything you do. Pay close attention to see if there are any minor changes you can make to improve your experience. "The team meeting would have been energizing," for example, "but it became depleting because someone kept dominating the conversation." In this case, you might want to include potential alternatives in your inferences, such as "I am going to recommend a format for our meetings that enables all team members equal time to speak and express their ideas."

Another option for determining what invigorates you is to consider the following queries:

  • What interactions or tasks do I find the most enjoyable?
  • What could I do for eight hours and not get tired?
  • When am I the happiest?

Note

Developing a new source of energy (your aura) is essential not only for your health and well-being but also for your life in general. Consider the trusting relationship, constructive friendships, and possibilities you'll build, and for the love of cupid's sake, the love life you may lure will make you a better person. The sky is your limit, and you have the prospects to go even higher.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line is that the most crucial choice for living a successful life is where you engage your energy. Your time is your asset, and your energy is your valuable, nonrefundable currency. Spend it wisely.
